We recently stayed on the 24/03/25nMy daughter had an operation pending and we had to drop her off early having been up since 4am my partner and I was extremely shattered.nThe delightful Valerie managed to speak to HQ and get us an early quick in, we had breakfast which was great value for money. The sausages were extremely nice. Yes the building is dated externally and internally however the staff more than made up for that especially Valerie.nnThe car park was expensive however that’s London and it was great convenience for our stay
I didn't think there was such a thing as a bad Premier Inn but this place certainly bucks the trend. It's in a nice location you can walk to the river in under 10 minutes but built in a converted 60s/70s office block it looks very grim from the outside. Check-in was a bit clunky but not an ordeal and the staff were very pleasant. The room was a major disappointment, really boxy and probably not suitable for people with mobility issues. The bathroom too was very tiny with a half bath and a big step up to get over and into the shower which worked OK. The minimal lighting in both rooms only added to the shabiness. As stated in other reviews the decor and furniture was all a bit worn and definitely in need of an upgrade. And so to the celebrated beds and the guaranteed great nights sleep. The bed was comfy but on inspection my double bed was two singles pushed together. The noise levels were OK in the night but it got very noisy after 8am and didn't let up until I left my room at 10.00 so the do not disturb sign was a bit redundant. All of this is reflected in the price. The hotel is significantly cheaper than the more popular Hammersmith location half a mile up the road but having experienced the gloom of Ravenscourt Park I'd be happy to pay the extra £20 p/n for a bit of cheerfulness.
Disappointing Stay with a Few HighlightsnnThe experience at Premier Inn London Hammersmith was disappointing overall. The room was dark, and the bathroom was almost unusable due to extremely low water pressure. Additionally, the air conditioning was noisy, which made it difficult to relax. The service was inconvenient—asking for basic necessities like extra towels or toilet paper felt like a chore.nnBreakfast was the highlight of the stay—very good and enjoyable, and the location was excellent, situated in a quiet and pleasant area. However, the dinner was awful and overpriced, definitely not worth it.nnMost of the staff were unhelpful, snobbish, and unfriendly, making the experience even worse. That said, I want to give credit to two staff members who stood out as caring and friendly, particularly Valerie, whose kindness and professionalism made a positive impact.nnI wouldn't recommend this hotel unless they address the issues with service and amenities.
Perfect location for my stay, the hotel is a bit run down and shabby, but the welcome and helpfulness from Tigist was above and beyond. I was able to leave my luggage there as they had no availability for me to have an early check in. Lovely little bar area to have a quiet drink. My room was a twin room, very small and very stuffy as couldn’t open the windows, and the shower wasn’t that great. But I can’t complain too much as I was only there for a night. I would book here again if it was cheap enough, but wouldn’t pay more than £50 for this hotel.
