Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre HotelnnnnOur recent stay at Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was impeccable. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic charm, with every detail thoughtfully designed for a truly enjoyable experience.nnHowever, what truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service from Rachel, who works Wednesday nights. She went above and beyond to ensure my family and I were completely taken care of. From greeting us with a warm and welcoming smile to making sure all our needs were met throughout the evening, Rachel's attention to detail and dedication was remarkable. She helped with our luggage, offered great local recommendations, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.nnA huge thank you to Rachel for making our visit so special. We will definitely be back, and we’ll always remember the wonderful hospitality you provided. If you're looking for a top-notch experience in Harrogate, Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre and the exceptional service from Rachel on Wednesday nights are the way to go!
We stayed here for two nights after a one night stay in another premier inn, so it was interesting to have a direct comparison. This premier inn is not of the better ones we've stayed in - whilst we did have the usual comfy bed, decent size room and good location, the communal areas lacked cleanliness and need updating. Lots of paint coming away from the walls and bits of rubbish in the hallway that didn't move for the whole two days we were there.nnAbout a ten minute walk into the main town where we found lots of lovely restaurants, cafes, parks and shops.nnOverall, it's a decent hotel for the price - but having stayed in cheaper premier inns that were definitely more well-kept, I think this one needs some attention.
I've stayed at a lot of premier inns and this is probably the worst. Dirty tired room. Heavy smell of stale cigarette smoke. Lumpy beds. No free parking. A really grubby experience. Best avoided. Even our kids thought it was gross.
Great location and parking is very fairly priced.nRoom was good and very clean.nStaff during the day were a great help but the evening staff were on a different level.nWe was left waiting an hour for a table when the restaurant is dead and then told it would be an hour for ordering food.nIt was a shambles with the evening manager and staff who seemed to walk around aimlessly.nnDuring the day and for breakfast staff were great!
Sadly this premier inn falls below standard. The rooms are a little dated and tired and definitely ready for a refresh. Also no on site parking with no clear instructions of where is best to park. £15 for 24hrs is ok but we needed accessible parking, on arrival at the hotel it turns out they do have accessible parking spaces outside the door. There was chaos managing a large booking in the reception so we were left to book in using the automated service. As such no interaction with staff to discuss our accessibility needs.nWhen I did get to speak to a staff member he was polite but just provided stock answers about parking and standard of rooms. We’ve stayed in far better standard and run premier inns.nUpdate: the beds are the old premier inn beds so are nowhere near as comfortable as the usual premier inn beds. Hard, you can feel the spring frame and over 6 footers feet hang out of the end of the bed. Pillow choices, bag of clay or sheet of A4 paper. No good nights sleep for us!
