We stayed here as a family for a little over a week last month and I have nothing but good things to say. The room was clean and spacious with a gorgeous view, the beds were comfy, the breakfast area was very pleasant and breakfast itself nice. The walk to and from town is a pleasure, especially in the late evening just as the sun is starting to set! Every member of staff we encountered was an absolute credit to the company, all incredibly helpful and good-natured and we were really impressed by the general levels of professionalism. We look back so fondly on our stay already. A lovely Premier Inn.
I stayed at the Premier Inn in Harrogate Central and unfortunately had a less than restful experience. I requested a quiet room since I work nights and need to rest during the day, but the housekeeping staff was very noisy, banging around and shouting from one room to another, which made it really hard to sleep. Even after I brought it up, the noise continued the next day. On top of that, the room wasn't as clean as I'd hoped. The soap dispenser, towels, and kettle weren't up to standard, and there was barely any toilet paper. Overall, it was a disappointing stay.
Wow. This was bad. Two night stay and second night somebody else in our room asleep when we got back to the hotel. All our clothes cleared out. Not to mention the lack of toilet roll, mould on the bathroom walls, water damage to bath panelling, only one towel for two of us, no tv remote, key not working, restaurant closed, lift not working and £30 to park my car for two nights. Won’t be back here.
Absolutely awful. Never seen such a scruffy hotel. Our bedroom was filthy. We were moved..equally as bad. The bar area was awful. Stained carpets throughout. This hotel is in dire need of a serious update....staff seemed despondent and apologetic. Bad experience for us.
Hotel is in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. Rooms are dated, not particularly clean, dust everywhere. In the bathroom the shower curtain is torn with black mold in places. Water pressure is very low, with only luke warm water. As for the on site restaurant, avoid at all costs!! Waited 50 minutes for starters which were stone cold when arrived, followed by a main course which was also served stone cold! Only one chef working and basically he couldn’t cope! Only tip that I left was get a new chef!! Hotel is vastly understaffed, what staff they do have their attitude is shocking! Avoid this hotel at all costs!!
