Not sure why there as many mixed reviews on here. But my experience it was fantastic very clean nice welcoming staff very polite the rooms are very modern only downside for me was a noisy heater/fan that was located outside of the room but I could still sleep well so not to bigger issue. The pool facilities were excellent and I would strongly recommend anybody wanting a few days break to come. We will be coming back again and recommending this to all our friends and family thank you to all staff at majestic and look forward to seeing you all again
We'd asked for rooms next to each other when we booked, but this wasn't sorted until we arrived. Toilet paper wasn't replenished, we stayed for 3 nights, so this was needed. The swimming pool is only available for a few hours a day for kids under 16, which we weren't made aware of. The building was tired and in need for some tlc. Only one of the restaurants was open and we couldn't get a reservation. Most of the staff were amazing, including James who worked in the spa. Location is great and we would definitely visit Harrogate again, but we would choose a different hotel. We wanted one with a swimming pool, but couldn't use this even to justify the extra cost.
This terrible hotel with awful service charged me £270 on my birthday. I had booked the hotel for my birthday weekend, but the night before, I got sick with COVID, and my child also had a high fever. I was very upset that my birthday was ruined and asked the hotel to reschedule the dates. However, they didn't respond for five days and then informed me that my money was forfeited. If I had known this right away, I might have sent my parents instead, or I would have gone there with a fever, but they simply let me down.nnAnd yes, their phone line was unavailable for several days.
Great service from all staff, nothing was ever a bother for them when asked. The room was very spacious, clean and warm. The facilities were great, I used the pool and sauna most mornings. It gets busier around 7:30/8am but before then it’s quiet. Breakfast was delicious and was self service. Would stay here again.
Always have an enjoyable and accommodating stay here. Whilst travelling for work I stay in a lot of Hilton branded hotels across the country and always look forward to staying here. Friendly and helpful staff in all areas but Alex in the restaurant really shines. Dev on reception always accommodates any additional requests and is very welcoming upon check-in.
