Visiting with work. The location is excellent given it is near to the train station and 10 minutes away from the centre.nThe staff are really friendly and helpful.nThe rooms in comparison to the ones at Bromley premier inn are a lot more dated. They are all too warm three out of three with the air con going off on a timer so it is too warm all the time.nThere aren’t enough sockets in the room, especially next to the bed.
Stayed here as we were travelling locally to a family wedding. Location was perfect, located close to the local train and bus stations and a stroll to the centre. Rooms were spacious, clean and airy. Had all facilities we could need. Staff pleasent and helpful on arrival. Enjoyed a 2 night stay and would highly recommend.
Great location for a night out in Chelmsford. Room was lovely and comfortable. The fire alarm went off in the morning, went to check reception to make sure everything was ok as the alarm stopped on our way out of the room, but did not get a response or any indication that it was from the staff. Must be a better procedure in place. Then a breakfast some of the food was cold, very disappointing.
Person on reception was slow, 4 of us 2 rooms 2 bookings under 1 name, the cogs could be heard wirring. Car park is close, crossing the road is dangerous, walk back via crossing. Room not up to scratch, filthy ceiling filters, filthy TV cord, lamps switched off at sockets, plus evidence of walls being punched? Not our usual Premier Inn experience. Would use again if I had to, which is very unlikely.
Richard is the perfect example of someone who goes through extra mile for his guests. I needed a converter for my computer. After having looked through multiples areas to find one without success, Richard kept finding new places to look and eureka… I can finally work. What’s notable was not that he kept looking but that he did it with enthusiasm. Good customer service is hard to find. Thanks Richard!
