DON'T APPLY FOR A JOB THERE! Nothing you hear during the interview is true. You won't get contract, you won't get your working hours schedule in advance. The only true thing is you will not get paid for your trainingif you get any! despite you work normally! Moreover there are problems to get the salary from the employer. Some people left the job and after few months and still didn't get paid! Employer's behaviour is unacceptable. He is spying employess all the time on the CCTV, it happens he is very rude towards his employees and even accuse them of being a burglar for no reason... You can try your best to be a good worker and you will never be in his eyes. As a shop it isn't that bad, but double check expiration date as some products - especially the ones with reduced price - exceeded it in most cases.
Terrible employer. He's got zero respect for his staff, refuses to pay on time sometimes tries to get away without paying at all, forces to work more than they can manage Most of them are students too, doesn't provide any contract, gives irregular working hours and much much more. I've known many people that worked there and there is literally nobody that has any positive opinion about this place. During my "interview" he told me that I'd be working for free for the first 24 hours as a training period and had instantly rejected me after I told him that I need to think about it. Overall, an awful employee and human-being.
Was surprised to see all the negative reviews. I've never encountered any problems in this shop, and the owners and their employees have always come across as nice people who like their jobs. The same can't be said for some other local branches of convenience store chains beginning with S and T...
The customer service in the shop is on a high level, everyone is really friendly and helpful. The place is clean, has a good variety of products and prices are way cheaper comparing to other stores in Aberystwyth. I would recommend visiting the store and supporting this local business
Terrible place. Where prices are not adequete to the quality of products. As an ex employee I know from my own experience that Owner does not have any respect to his staff. He cheats them and does not pay their salaries. The store is very dirty and owner encourages staff to sell even products which are expired. Definetely this place is not worth to be recommended. Situation looks exactly the same in the other premier expres shop next to the castle.
Nice place to work. Very supportive staff and management. I highly recommend this place for any one who wish be employed or shop. A great team and management!!!
Awful shop manager, uses their workers, there are rats in the shop and food is not fresh. I do not recommend shopping or working there. It’s a huge scam.
This shop is disgusting. The floor is sticky and it smells bad. The owner is very rude and he cheats on his employees. Do not work there!!! Shame for Aberystwyth!
