I rang Powell Funeral Directors initially because they were top of the list when I Googled funeral directors near me. However, I found them very professional and helpful so contacted them when my mother died. I really feel I lucked out because they made everything to do with my Mum's funeral very easy. I was always kept well informed of where we were with arrangements, everything was carried out promptly. At every turn staff who attended the cremation and subsequent interment were extremely smart in the way they were dressed and respectful in their manner. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
From the moment dad was collected by Lee the service has been amazing .Linda was supportive and calm and always got back to me and was always lovely and knowledgeable. On the day the flowers were gorgeous and the cars and men were caring and kept us informed we felt supported. The vicar and church warden were also lovely. The whole day was just beautiful the funeral may have been small but dad was so loved. Linda and her team did a amazing caring funeral with every person warm and caring thank you so much
Andrew at Powells in Hertford was extremely professional, sensitive and helpful in making the arrangements for my Mother's funeral. He was always available to answer our questions and responded promptly every time. The funeral was all that we hoped for and we would highly recommend the service provided by Powell Funeral Directors.
The staff at the branch were very helpful and respectful. The people on the phone were always kind and helpful. Any messages we left gotvtobthe intended people and they always replied promptly. The staff at the Chappell of rest were helpful and did not rush us at all. The director on the day of the service ensured that everything went as it should. Over all I can highly recommend Powell's for your Funeral services. Thank you.
An excellent service from Powell Funeral Directors. They led the proceedings discreetly, but didn't take over. Low-key, but there when needed.
Powells made my fathers funeral as straightforward and as worry free as I could have reasonably hoped for.
