Staff attitude in this shop is awful, but today worse than ever. Blonde Middle aged woman with her hair in ponytail should NOT be customer facing.
Food reasonably priced staff ok and need a bigger store to manoeuvre but all good
I have been there yesterday, the elderly staff is very rude this is only one elderly person does it, other wise the kiddo works there and other elderly person is very nice in behaviour, response and service. I think she does not care about the business also they have increased the price without any notices. I am an asian and not going there again due to some understanding I have learnt, I thought she might be changed, when she can recognise me going there regularly to buy food some time I don't cook at home due to struggles but today, I have learnt some person will never be changed. Anyways avoiding at all cost, I will die hungry but will never go there again. # the answer to pound bakery response, excuse me there is nothing else to explain I have said it all in here, I am going there since last 6months regularly, my bank statement will say it. When I spoke about behaviour as well you should not technically answer to price increase, if you still talk about that, you must know, public notice comes first then any changes and there are laws for that. You don't comply to law, sale without letting the customer know about any changes in price or ingredients is a crime too. Please don't show technical answers as because I had to rewrite the review after seeing your comment was made to take it in deferent direction, this was not about price increase, it was about behaviour and complying to the law. If need to be reported I would with evidence, instead of being apologetic you trying to say this was about price increase? Anyways As I said, I should die hungry and never buy food from yours because of the behaviour of the staff. Shame !!!
Everything under a pound or a half and the taste is decent. I loved the triple chocolate cookie and donuts
A certain staff member with really short blonde hair made a really rude comment this morning about what food I chose to buy for my child. Peoples situations are different. Keep your rude opinions to yourself next time.
Can get very busy at times but worth the wait. Handy for when the munchies strike.
Good value quick efficient service
It has gone too pricy now. You could get 2 x cheese paste for £1 and now it's 1 for £1.30
Went to poundbakery today it was busy I wanted 8 cheese pastys and the women proceeded to put two pastys in to one paper bag I only noticed as she was done . I thought it was pretty odd , I thought maybe they ran out of bags. I got to the till, and I heard her from behind saying to another costumer " is it oright if I put them in one bag". So basically she didnt even give me the choice . Why is that though? It's a good thing I was just taking them home and didnt have my children with me. As everyone knows it's pretty messy eating a pasty without a paper bag. It just really annoyed me but upset me that I was singled out. I wont be going there again.
Rude staff. Nothing else to say. Left the store in disgust. Better service at Greggs which is a few doors away.
