Different from other desi sweet shops in Glasgow. Its clean and all products are packed well. Taste of their products is good too! if you have a sweet tooth and like Mithai shops, you must visit them.
Absolutely cannot recommend. Been gifted two boxes from two different folks over the past few days, both boxes are off. These are boxes that were picked up just an hour or so earlier before being gifted. Awful service if they’re not even checking before they sell them. It’s primarily the wet stuff that smells and tastes off - I took a bite of one of the mini gulab jamuns and had to spit it out immediately. Then the smell hits you. Even the rest of the dry sweets smell off as well. Avoid these sweets and save yourself from likely food poisoning. Purchased many kilos this week from Glasgow Sweet Centre - you don’t get the fancy box, but it’s freshly made, safely stored and edible! Recommend you go elsewhere if you want sweets.
Amazing staff, clean display, quality bakery stuff. No wonder since 1979 they have mastered their craft so well. I tried chicken samosa,
Quality of mithai and cakes is good. Products with Yoghurt e.g. Dahi ballay is slightly watered and thin, and overall average in taste. Samosay chutnis are just plain yoghurt and sweet chilli sauce. Container of channay is only half filled. Borderline average.
Great variety of Asian sweets and foods. Love their handmade frozen samosas and spring rolls. Well worth a try.
Very clean and tidy place. Amazing value very cheap. Great customer service overall a really good sweet shop.
Very poor quality of spring rolls especially when they are prices a bit more than regular shops. The spring rolls had mould on them which shows they were mouldy when packed and frozen in the shop. Would definitely not recommend Nafees frozen foods by looking at this. Just wasted my money them after hearing Nafees sells good quality foods.
Love everything Nafees... And their cakes are yummy... The sponge is moist plus it isn't too sweet...
A variety of cakes, biscuits and samomas etc. Thier food is very good and i love thier kebab rolls and the pistachio milk.
Fantastic tasting sweets. I got gifted a box about a month ago. We finished practically all the box, which is unusual for us. I went to Glasgow especially for getting a few boxes today to gift to family and friends today. Again delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.
