Absolutely vile man, extremely rude, swore at me because I wanted to take my large letter back as he was trying to over charge me for a small parcel which is over £2 more. I post many things all the time and know he was trying to put this through at the wrong rate. I was calm but I wanted my letter back and he told me to get out his shop and F off. Why is everyone so rude these days? I see from other reviews I am not the only one who thinks this. I also think that if you don't know much about the correct postage rates he will try and push your mail through at the wrong rate so bear this in mind.

Poor customer service. Rude staff. Obviously a very unhappy family that work there. No smiles, grumpy, snappy, short tempered and negative atmosphere. I recommend Fox Hill post office - much happier staff and a more pleasant environment.

don't bother using odd down post office. out of date with royal mail online pre payment. on two occasions have taken prepaid packets to send from this post office and on both occasions the postmaster has refused to take them as the payment was under. it is well known if you pre pay on royal mail's website you pay less than you would in the post office. today i had to drive an extra 5 miles each way to send my package. the second post office accepted it without hesitation.

Nothing particulary special about this small local Post Office. The small shop has anything you might need to get in an emergency without having to go to a supermarket, but you will of course have to pay a higher price. My experience with the staff has swung from smiling and friendly to grumpy and snappy on different occasions but then we all have our bad days.
