Waited in queue whilst the guy behind the counter sold ‘special delivery’ to every little old lady who came to the counter. Even when one lady struggled as she could not afford it, he did not suggest the adequate ‘signed for’ at £5 less in postage costs. He tried it with me. I said I did not want to pay the cost and he said well signed for is no better than putting it in the postbox. No guarantee it will get there. Up to me. He was quite aggressive. Getting the feeling they are pushing the best option for that franchise than what is best for the customer. Will go to Hale next time.

Lovely staff, queues can be long during lunchtime hours and first thing in the morning but apart from those times, it's very good.

Prepare to queue for over half an hour without apology. Always seems to be the case during lunch hours.

Before visiting this Post Office I read the reviews and was nearly put off going,  but because it was one of the only Post Offices open  on a Saturday afternoon, and me working throughout the week, I thought I better give it a go!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The Post Office wasn't busy, and the man working was extremely polite and helpful.  There was nothing to criticise at all. 

I think the reviews are so poor, because generally people only think to review if they are angry and have had a bad experience. That is why I took time today to give a good review as my experience was very positive. It is very easy for people to forget a good experience and move on in their day but a bad experience can put you in a bad mood for the rest of the day!!
