Post Office said it was unable to print off my prepaid label, in contradiction to all other information I could find about the labels
Evening service from convenience store counter now withdrawn, but still open on Sundays during the day. Often queues at busy times.
Sharon very kindly sold me stamps this morning before their opening hours which has allowed me to post my dad's birthday card on time - much appreciated! Thank you sharon and all the rest of the hard working royal mail staff at this time.

Great local Post Office. Always helpful and open at weekends!
The times are wrong for the Post Office. Parcels cannot be accepted before 9am, although they are open until 9pm. Pre-paid letters can be accepted before 9am.
Always friendly. I go most days with an armful of parcels.
As of 2016, the Gosforth post office is in the Loco store on Salters Road, at the back. They were very friendly the two times I went in.
The post office used to be on Gosforth high street. Since it moved I have never been as I would need to catch a bus so prefer to catch one to Newcastle.
Lovely staff at the post office. Really friendly and helpfull as well
