I ordered all my flooring from Posh Flooring. The order was processed seamlessly and the product arrived on time and was high quality. It is beautiful oil brushed white oak which fitted my living room and bedroom nicely. However, around two months into renovation, I figured out that I would like to have a different type of flooring for the kitchen. It was way beyond any return deadlines. However, I explained to the company what I wanted and they were accommodating enough to send a truck to pick up the unused flooring and replace it with a new, slightly darker type. I was very pleased. They were also very helpful with choosing the matching beading and stair nosing. Very helpful indeed!
Very fed up with this company. I purchased flooring totaling more than £800. When the flooring arrived it had no resemblance to the sample that had been received earlier. The flooring was very poor with bad oil finish and many knots and defects throughout the pack, they say that this is natural! The pallet of flooring had to be returned after the firm was sent pictures of the sample and that of the flooring. I am still outstanding over £138 with this firm as was not refunded the full amount for the order. It has now been over 3 months since the flooring was returned. No reason was give at the time for the withholding of this amount. The company is now refusing to return the remaining amount to me saying that the flooring is as described and make the excuse of having variations in the wood. At point of sale I was told that the sample would be the same, but the finished are totally different in every aspect. I make special mention to June and Sandie who promise to get things sorted but fail to get back to me, and continually lay blame onto other personnel. I would not recommend anyone considering flooring to purchase from this firm, they will waste your time and money and avoid issuing any refunds and use the above excuse.
We have been ordering engineered wood flooring from Posh Flooring for the last two and a half years. I would recommend Posh to anyone who are looking for competitively priced wood floors. The prices are nearly half of what most London retailer stores are charging so ideal for our installs. We have had no issues with the quality of the products that we have ordered.
On the surface, It appears that Posh Flooring are an excellent retailer as long as other issues don't develop during the course of the order. Originally, I had purchased solid wood flooring but after consulting a flooring expert I was advised that I would still get the same effect and longevity with engineered wood. Ultimately the installation would take less time and also cost less. This was a priority to me because I had purchased a new property and had a tight deadline to undertake decoration works before moving in. So, I tried to change my order to engineered wood, but Posh flooring didn't have this in stock at the time and there was no guarantee when this would also be available. I subsequently requested a refund via email following up with a telephone call so that I could purchase engineered wood from another retailer who had this in stock to go, Floors 4 U. Chris Ashcroft vehemently assured me that the refund would be processed back onto my credit card within 10 working days and no subsequent delivery would be undertaken. However, 11 working days later no refund was credited back onto my card and a contractor attempted to deliver the original solid wood order. I called the retailer annoyed with the level of incompetence only to get a flimsy excuses and blaming other depts and promises to get call back.
Ordered one sample to compare with another however after 6 days since it was sent not too impressed with the service so far. Hopefully it arrives soon or I may just have to write off this company. Edit: I was contacted by the company after my review and the sample had been sent however did not arrive. Received said sample a few days ago and was very impressed. I had already checked over several different samples and this one really impressed me it is the Oak engineered flooring. Some of the other samples were not of the same quality particularly the plywood base. The plywood on this sample showed no voids which in my opinion is just as important as the top finish. The one I almost settled for was not quite as smooth a finish and was £7.00 a metre more expensive. Now I am sitting in the kitchen waiting for the arrival of 18 packs of Oak engineered flooring. Very impressed by the willingness and help from all of the staff I have spoken to. Would I give it give 5 stars? Yes.
We are absolutely delighted with our new floor from Posh Flooring. From our first contact with them, to having the flooring delivered to our door, the customer service was superb and nothing was too much trouble. I must give a special mention to Gareth Murchie who couldn't have been anymore helpful! The whole process couldn't have been simpler! The quality of the floor is second to none, and everyone has commented that our new through Lounge kitchen/diner has been utterly transferred by the floor. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Posh Flooring to anyone!
Knowledgeable, helpful and I LOVE MY NEW FLOOR I've had bad experiences with other flooring companies, one for example delivered one floor board short of completing the room and then took eight weeks to deliver a replacement. Another told us that our under heated floor would not make the boards warp.... yet after two years it happened. Its safe to say I approached Posh Flooring with some apprehension, but I wasn't let down. After ordering a number of samples the sales team talked me through the choices helping me find the right choice for an under-heated floor with a fireplace in the room and now I'm very happy with our fabulous looking floor.... and most importantly so is my wife.
Terrible customer service. Huge delay on delivery when I was told twice my flooring was in stock, then told it was a 3 weeks wait. Also delivery was supposed to be free but I was charged. the Company never refunded me even after I complained that I had to wait 4 week for floor. there 14 days/ 28 day return policy is all over the place. Shop somewhere else! that said the tile flooring is good quality.
We've just had solid oak flooring delivered not fitted yet! and the quality is excellent and just what we expected. It all arrived on time. James Breeze helped us out and his excellent customer service made it a great experience. We'll certainly use Posh Flooring again and happily recommend you to others.
We bought 70sq/m of the engineered oiled oak and the quality is superb. I have always been able to get through to someone in the office when needed without any problem. No hanging about on the line for 1/2 hour like some of these companies. If you are ordering any volume, I would recommend having some friends around to help unload. The lorry will only deliver the pallets to the kerbside or flat drive if there is clear access. Also, do not skimp on the amount that you require, it will work out cheaper to go a little over rather than having to order 1-2 packs at the end as the delivery will not be cheap. Overall, I have been very happy with the service.
