Simon at Jim's carpets is very knowledgeable and provided helpful advice to make our selection of bedroom flooring. The sales process is straight-forward and not at all pushy.  The flooring was delivered and fitted when advised. A special shout out to the fitters, who went the extra mile changing the beading at the last minute.

Absolutely superb service from the initial phone call to the end product being fitted. Simon has been a dream to deal with, his communication is great, he makes you feel at ease and has everything planned out perfectly to make your fittings go to plan! The fitters have all been friendly and extremely professional. I highly recommend using Jim's Carpets for all your carpet and flooring needs! Thank you! 10/10

Go elsewhere, honestly the whole experience has been awful. From taking the money for the original carpet before it was even checked that it was in stock. Then having to change the carpet to receive one before Christmas to something that I didn’t really want. To then the carpet fitter coming out to fit the carpet and there wasn’t enough carpet. Caused by the guy that came out to measure the carpet at the beginning measuring completely wrong. When the new carpet was re ordered their fitter couldn’t fit the carpet before Christmas and there was no other fitter that they could find. I very much doubt any effort was put into finding a carpet fitter. I then had to spend a day ringing around to get a carpet fitter before Christmas, which I managed to do. When it came to delivering the carpet no underlay or grips were delivered which were paid for, I had to contact them again to resolve this. When it came to fitting my carpet on the 22nd December,  my carpet fitter explained to me there was not enough carpet for the rooms I wanted, I saw this with my own eyes, the carpet was laid out and measured in front of me and as it was a pattern it could not have been fitted any other way. I called the office right away to be told that there was nothing that could be done now until January, so I had no choice but to have my carpet fitters fit the carpet that they could as it was Christmas in a matter of days,  this leaving me one room short. After chasing in January I am now told that there is nothing that can be done and that they have measured correctly and that it is my carpet fitters fault. Hard to believe when they had measured it wrong in the first place don't you think. I am now left with a room uncarpeted and hundreds of pounds out of pocket as I'm having to find the exact same carpet obviously from another supplier. No help from them, no I am sorry for all the problems. Nothing. I would go elsewhere. A solution could have been reached, if customer service was important to them, but I guess it is not. Also this is the first review I have ever written, this is how strongly I feel regarding my experience.

We've recently had Jim's carpets to fit some luxury vinyl flooring in our kitchen and hallway and luxury Britons carpet in our living room and bedroom in our Leeds city centre apartment. Simon the manager was very helpful and informative about the product's we wanted the surveyor came out to measure, did a great job. The fitting ran plan with two great fitters who it was a pleasure to have in our home. All in all a great experience and service would highly recommend. Anthony fielding

Experiences are hit and miss really. Had a couple of issues in the past. My most recent one was with the fitters. They scuffed my freshly painted walls and skirting in numerous places even though I asked them to be careful. I know its possible as I had an older gentleman fit my last carpet and not one mark. I guess attention to detail comes with age. Its winter at the moment, so muddy. I asked them to remove their shoes but they said they couldn't and then proceeded to leave a few dirt marks on my carpet that luckily I could clean off. Oh and they also left blood on my carpet! Lovely. So after spending a fortune on my carpet, I then spent the rest of the day scrubbing my carpet clean and repainting my walls and skirting!

I went to Jim's for my stair carpet and bathroom vinyl, the store had a large collection for me to choose from and staff within the store were really helpful. The store arranged the fitting promptly and the fitter was professional and did a brilliant job! Would certainly recommend.

Excellent customer service from both the ladies in the shop. We were given detailed advice on the best kind of carpets for the area we wanted carpeting. Claire spend the time to fully listen to what we required and then showed us around the shop giving examples of colour and textures of carpets that would suit. She showed great knowledge about what, I am sure, is not an easy subject to remember everything about. Refreshing change to not feel rushed into making a decision but once decision was made it was a fast process to arrange for fitter to come and measure up and then book in for fitting. We would definitely come back again for any of our future flooring needs. Thank you to both ladies and will definitely recommend Jim's Carpets.

I went in store with some samples and they were helpful in finding a match, answering my questions and getting it all booked in quickly. The fitter did a great job and the carpet looks lovely.

Had some floor done last week looks absolutely fantastic  Fitter was really good on time .  Job look great Highly recommended

Dont buy they sell SECONDS, take your money up front and then zero after sales/customer service....... 2 out of the 4 carpets have large faults on them - . even there own carpet specialist said they should never have been fitted as the faults are clearly visible. The fitters damaged the skirting of my newly fitted wardrobe and chipped the paintwork in my hall and bedroom. There are also gripper scratches on the walls. They offered to replace 2 carpets but with 50% being faulty and the damage i asked for a refund. At this point i was told i was after FREE carpets by the manager!!!!!. My husband has been dealing with him for the last 12 months - yes 12 months, promise of call backs and excuses. We paid 2k in total and they finally refunded a pittance of £138. Avoid avoid avoid
