Very nice weekend market. The food scene is great and a lot of great art work and antiques are sold. The famous Notting Hill book shop from the movie Notting Hill was an interesting one to spot. The place can get extremely crowded and one must be careful of their belongings at all times. It’s a beautiful colourful market and worth a visit or two!
Amazing place for those who love style, vintage and jewelry. There are also many things for gifts: bags, postcards, tea. I even found a store with music records. The only downside is that even on a weekday morning there are already hundreds of people and a lot of crowds.
If you haven't been make plans and go, the place is amazing and buzzing with all sorts of stalls, from clothes, jewellery knick knacks, food perfumes, there's that much I can't remember everything. This was the first time we went and will definitely be going again, you can easily spend a whole day out there.
I visited Portobello Market in London recently, and it was a vintage lover’s paradise! I was on the hunt for vintage jewelry and bags, and there was an amazing array of options to choose from—rings, necklaces, dresses, scarves, and even cameras. The variety was fantastic, and the prices were pretty reasonable. The market has such a great vibe, and I got tons of compliments on the pieces I picked up. The only downside is that many items are repeated across different stalls, which can be a bit frustrating if you find the same item at varying prices. It’s worth keeping an eye out to avoid paying more than necessary. Also, a huge plus—there was a handy watch smith who adjusted my luxury watch for just £5. Super affordable and incredibly convenient! Overall, Portobello Market is a must-visit for its eclectic finds and vibrant atmosphere.
It's worth a visit to see and shop at all the shops and stalls. Huge variety of food options there, too. Not very far from Notting Hill Gate tune station.
Lovely street market. Visit on weekends since on weekdays not many stalls. If you have cash there’s always room for negotiation
A great market to walk through on a sunny day. I will say that if you’re coming from TikTok for the vintage watches; a lot of them are scratched, dirty clasp and tarnished. It’s a jewellery heaven though and easily could have spent my entire holiday allowance in here! Plenty of vintage clothing, books, shoes etc. There’s food stalls and honestly too much choice! You could spend the whole day here - a London must do
LARGE market! A LOT of antiques, though it felt like they were all the same thing mass ordered and sold as 'antiques.' Lots of watches and jewelry as well as clothes. Almost every marketer said their stuff was 'handmade', like crochet flowers - though there were at least 10 vendors with these. Some of the clothes also seemed like they were from Temu or Shein. There's definitely some good finds here, though you have to be patient to find them.
Probably one of the best markets I’ve ever been to, they sell a bit of all, food and vintage stuff. I recommend when planning a trip checking the hours they have open and the ones they don’t. There is also a bus that goes straight there check it out with maps because the trip there is very enjoyable
There are dozens of stalls open all over the street on Saturdays. Old, second-hand and antique items are sold. thousands of watches, porcelain, toys, clothes, photographs, books, fountain pens, radios, household goods, musical instruments, etc. you can find them all. Apart from the stalls, there are also dozens of antique shops in the arcades. Some of these shops are also open on weekdays. There are also dozens of food stalls here. You can also eat local foods of different nations. One end of the street leads to Notting Hill. There are very beautiful streets with colorful houses. I recommend you come early in the morning and spare a day.
