Absolutely fantastic pool! It's one of the best pool I've visited in England in the past few years. Best thing about the pool is that it is heated. Staffs are friendly and helpful, the pool and changing room are clean. The style of colours is gorgeous. There is a small shop and resting area near the pool.
A lovely pool and a great community asset. We booked in advance via website. Certain areas are in need of a little TLC - the poolside toilets are leaky and full of cobwebs. Nice poolside tuck-shop cafe was closed when we visited. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking outside. We went for an early evening lane swim, which was very popular. Slow lane is double-width, so fairly comfortable swimming, even when the pool was busy. Liked the cheerful changing cubicles with curtains reminiscent of Bristol Lido. Limited number of showers in the changing areas and lockers were a bit battered bring own padlock. Pool is 33m, well maintained, and was 25° in the rain. An enjoyable visit.
Highly recommend for a moonlight swim. Lots of parking, good changing facilities bring a padlock! and a small cafe on the poolside for post-swim hot drinks.nnPool is heated and it’s a lovely swim under the stars
Just purchased an cold water membership for the next six months,the staff are just brilliant. helpful and brilliant customer service the place is in need of a bit of TLC but nothing off putting. Well worth visiting if u like your cold water swimming. Has a cafe loo's changing rooms etc well happy
Brilliant swimming pool. Clean and tidy. No diving boards. Can get really busy on sunny days. The shop sells a good selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks etc. It feels like you could be a million miles away. Fantastic value. Pool warm, and the staff are great. After swimming I definitely recommend the cafe next door for tea and a slice of cake.
