What can I say about Portfield estate agents, from the start they were absolutely brilliant and made me feel so calm about the process, they checked in with me every step of the way, all the ladies were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I found portfield to be extremely helpful when dealing with my property. The team were amazing & nothing was too much trouble!  From taking my initial call, to booking in my valuation, they were the best agents & I would highly recommend them to my family & friends without hesitation.

A complete waste of time! They do not respond to enquiries via their website or reply to emails, so we placed the property with another agent outside of Tickhill. In turn, they missed out on selling a completely refurbished cottage in a sought after location which would have been a very easy sale. Surely the kind of business a local Estate Agent would typically strive for?

Selling my mum's house was always going to be a difficult and stressful time.  The staff at Portfield made it as easy as possible.  They were always helpful and knowledgeable, assisting us towards a successful sale with, hopefully, a happy purchaser. who is now enjoying living in their new home.

We had been recommended to use Portfield Garrard & Wright by our daughter who had previously used them to purchase her new home and we weren’t disappointed! The team at Portfield we’re excellent in providing a first class super efficient and very personal service.  All staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times and especially Tanya who handled everything from our initial phone call to put the property on the market to completion, she would keep us up to date with the progress of the sale and always returning our phone calls with positive and reassuring advice. I've been a tenant via this agency for just over 6 months. From the moment of walking through the front door on the first viewing to our recent inspection, the staff from this company have been warm and friendly while maintaining a professional demeanor. Our house was exactly as advertised, absolutely lovely and in the perfect location for us, and when we had an issue with our plumbing after a cold snap it was resolved quickly. The staff were flexible around our working hours when it came to viewings and signing for the property, and again when it came to organising the plumber and the inspection. I would wholeheartedly recommend using this agency to anyone.  Edit to add: After moving out we got our full bond back with absolutely no shenanigans.  Sad that it's noteworthy really,  but still.

I have had an amazing experience with Portfield. Julian assisted greatly for the selling and the purchase of my new property. Everything was done in a timely manner. Tanya would ring and ensure I was updated at all times and provided sufficient advice throughout the whole process. Communication with them was good, however we went to view a To Let property and the estate agent, think his name was Neil, never greeted us at the door or showed us in, instead he sat in the living window and told us to come in and remained there the entire time. It is my understanding that estate agents are supposed to show you around the property, talk about it's features, what work has been done or will be done, and ultimately sell you on going in on it.  This was the first time I've ever experienced this at a viewing and I was quite shocked, and this was ultimately a big part of the reason we decided not to go for it, letting not only the landlord down but the company in my opinion
