If you've never been here, I would recommend a visit immediately, if not sooner! Food was amazing. Mary, Charlotte and Ella were on shift tonight and I have to say, exceptional service, welcoming, friendly and warm. Nothing was too much trouble. There are many gems in Old Town but Porters is a hidden one. I'd rate 10 stars if I could xx
Very nice waiters, delicious food and drinks, me and my friends spent here nearly 4hrs and we was very enjoying to be there. I will recommend and I will definitely come back here again
Walking past on Sunday, asked if they had a table free which they did, the best Sunday dinner I've ever had, food ordered and brought to the table with hardly any waiting, friendly and attentive staff, lovely place and highly recommended if you are in the area!!
Very reasonably priced food at such an incredible quality, Porters impressed us all around to be completely honest, a warm and welcoming decor and garden, Fresh food which was cooked quickly, my minute steak for example, and some wonderfully seasoned and flavoured homemade sauces. Drinks are the only reason for a lost star, as our Aperol Spritz was too much soda and one of their draft lagers was warm. Would defiently eat again, but maybe order a bottled beer
Staff meal, 11 of us booked a table and pre- ordered. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and a bit above what I was expecting. Great atmosphere and nice, unfussy decor. Photos are chicken caesar salad and chicken milanaise
Food and service was amazing, defo be going back. Food: 5/5
Whilst on holiday, we visited Porters for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! The food was unreal however, the main thing that made our experience at Porters was the service from our lovely waitress we didn’t manage to catch her name but she had blonde curly hair! from the moment of booking our table over the phone she ensured that she catered to all of our needs, she asked what size our dog was so that she could seat us in the right area and if he would be okay with loud noises because of the live music in the afternoon, she made lots of fuss of him and just made us feel at home and even got him some meat from the kitchen, I think he made a new bestie that afternoon! She was the best waitress we have come across in a long time, so attentive and just had the best vibe! If she hasn’t already been had a promotion - she needs one!!
Went for a Christmas work meal , considering the size of Porters they did very well to cater and seat around 25-30+ people and food all came out at same time. Was very good service and the ladies their seemed very friendlyFood: 4/5
Starters was excellent whitebait and pork belly bites, mains vegetable curry very bland and waterery. Just realised we didn't even get papadams advertised with meal. Dog Friendly restaurant!
Nice meal, service was good, but we had to wait some time for our meals. Very Dog friendly!Food: 4/5
