Stayed here for two nights and loved it. On arrival I was made welcome by the staff. Security keypad on the main door. The room was very clean, with tea/coffee making facilities and tv. Separate toilet and shower, both very clean. Every Wednesday live blues jam sessions well worth seeing. There's a lovely friendly bar downstairs, served by lovely staff. Plenty of areas to sit for drinks or meals, there's even a chill out area. Didn't eat at the restaurant but the food smelt and looked amazing. They have a good range of drinks, snacks at reasonable prices at the bar. There's a smoking area outside. All shops within 5 minutes walk, including bus and train station and less than 10 minutes for the seafront. Again loved this bar/hotel and staff, I would highly recommend 100%
Myself and my partner an old friend here for a meal. We googled it on the night, and decided to go, even though we didn't know the place. Upon entering. The staff were lovely. We ordered 2 rib eye steaks, and a burger. The food was served lovely. The steaks were done to perfection. Our friend is almost blind. But he loved the place. Will definitely go again. :
I am keep coming back to Pissarro's as the food is simply delicious and the portions are generous. The interior set up is interesting and the atmosphere is unique. ...and have I told l you about their food? ... ah... it is delicious!!! ... :
6 of us had carvery ,which was nice although a bit salty ,lack of vegetables given as 6 of us eating ,and only one plate of selected vegetables came out definitely Not enough for 6,so we had to ask for more ,which is a shame,also they had just run out of stuffing and it was only 2clock and said they didn't have Any more ,so only few of us got any..otherwise, a nice carvery and lovely place.

This was a find. Lovely lively bar and a charming cozy restaurant area. I had booked online, although it hadn't updated to the restaurant so we were seated in the main bar, which was fine but would have preferred the restaurant. Staff are lovely and friendly. We had the steak and wine offer 2 ribeyes, chips, mushroom and vine tomatoes for £35. No probs upgrading the wine and the steaks were amazingly delicious. We shared a cheese board do, because its huge. A perfect meal and a great evening. Definitely going again.
Friendly staff and good food and drink. Close to the main shops at Hastings and also close to the car park. We have been there several times for lunch over the years and always enjoyed it.
Turned up at Pissarios after my fathers wake with family who had travelled down. The staff were truly amazing and went above and beyond. Thank you all so very much.
