The restaurant inside the pub looks to be run by a different party. But this review is for both part, the pub and the restaurant. The service of the pub was really good and friendly. The one of the best Indian food is served by the restaurant. Their mixed grill and naan was really one of the best I had lately.Recommended dishesMedium Mix Grill
Had not eaten here before but certainly will go back! A lovely greeting when entering, wide range of beers on offer, a table had been reserved in advance for 4 and TV screens showing sport on every wall. It isn't table service, you order at the kitchen hatch and collect your own drinks from the bar. Food arrived promptly, 8 poppadoms and sauces, 4 mains, 2 rice and 4 naan breads. Piping hot and packed with flavour. £53 in total. I had saag paneer and thought it was one of the best I have ever tasted. My wife had saag balti and asked if she could have extra vegetables in it. The chef explained it may ruin the taste if she did, and he wasn't wrong, she said it was beautiful. I know, I finished the bit she couldn't eat! The other 2 dishes were chicken and lamb and seemed to have plenty of meat in them and lots of compliments about the flavour. Rice and naans were lovely too. Staff were super friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the venue. Don't expect a restaurant, it is a pub serving very nice food. Highly recommended and look forward to my next visit.
Amazing food and service every time we visit. Never had a bad meal. Food is full of flavour. Best curry we’ve had out of all restaurants. Fairly priced. Highly recommend.
Ordered via uber eats and the food was awful. Extremely runny chicken tikka masala which was also bland and barely any chicken but a lot of sauce. Rogan Josh was also poor. Disappointing considering the good reviews
Poorest experience of my life, food never arrived and in addition staff knowingly ignores the call when they been informed that food is for children. Shameless act of the restaurant and Uber. Must not be used ever again
Use this pub fairly regular, mostly just for a drink. But the few times I do eat there I'm never disappointed. Lovely staff, nice pint of carling, lovely food.
See photo of their chicken tikka masala. Just a few tiny nuggets of thigh meat . Phoned to complain I was told to ring the next day to discuss. Did as asked the owner and wasnt interested at all. Expensive mistake via Uber. The owner couldn't have cared less about the sorry state of this offering.
Midweek, not too busy, large screens showing football. Ok indian food and decent tandoori mixed kebabs. More about the portion size than quality, though all food was generally good. Decent beets on tap.
First time order.never again .never had such bad food.chips was all. Oil congealed fat.not cooked properly. Intact it was all shocking never again it's in the bin and now got to spend another 20 pound to eat Dietary restrictions: A complete waste of money
My partner and I visited and were amazed at not only the quality of food, but also the service.. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment!he menus options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff was very nice. Our waiter was awesome, the staff also worked as a team from bar survice to cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Then we also had dessert and that was really good as well. Great atmosphere with really nice people
