Just home from a mini break in Puddleduck Cottage. What an absolutely charming little place, home from home with everything we needed and very comfortable. Pam & Billy are wonderful, on hand if needed and always happy to chat. Poppyland does hold a special place in my heart and if you want a peaceful, relaxing holiday, this little gem is the place to be. The touring site is very pretty and immaculately maintained. We will definitely return sooner rather than later. Thank you
If you want peace and tranquillity, this is the place. A family owned site , adults only, a little piece of heaven.
We are new to caravanning which is why Downtide - the local dealer who sold us our caravan paid for two nights at Poppyland to get better acquainted with our new Adria caravan. In advance, Pam had sent us clear instructions, including a follow-up email about local roadworks to avoid. On arrival both Pam and Billy gave us a very warm welcome including help with setting up - close to the playful but necessary fire station pictured. This support, and warmth continued over our stay on 'anything and everything', never patronising, always helpful and encouraging. Between 'reading the manual', we did have time to drive and walk locally, particularly enjoying the cliff walk from nearby Overstrand to Cromer, returning by beach also pictured. We have had an excellent 'working' holiday at Poppyland, and significant thanks are due to Pam and Billy and their excellent site. We will be back - thank you.
We have just come back from poppyland after 3 weeks, we had a lovely time here very clean site,Pam Billy and Mike always friendly and helpful. Good place for getting g about. Everything was very clean and tidy, well spaced out with marked pitches . Can't recommend enough. Mick,Angela and Norman. Ps thanyou for a lovely time
Lovely quiet adult site. Peaceful and relaxing, nice clean loos and showers. Great kitchen area with essentials and treats to purchase using an honesty box. Microwave, washing machine, ironing board all available as are books and leaflets...this is probably our most favourite site.
A beautiful site within easy reach of the Norfolk Broads and the stunning North Norfolk Coast. I have visited the site at least once a year for 10 years. A home from home and hosts Pam & Billy work tirelessly to make the Poppyland experience one to remember.
We had 9 nights there a short time ago, never been there before, but if we're ever in that area again we'll certainly be back. Pam & Billy most friendly & very helpful with any queries. Adult only tho dogs very welcome, the grounds are flat & very well maintained & the loos & showers immaculately presented & clean. Can 100% recommend this site to anyone It says a lot when you get customers returning year after year
Lovely site very large pitches. Owner really friendly. Very peaceful will definitely return to this place again.
Very nice small caravan site. You have to go where you are told and there's an elderly gentleman that has a hobby caravan at the entrance who sits nearly all day watching the comings and goings of everyone. Billy and Pam the owners are welcoming and the facilities albiet 50p each for a shower are fine. Good location for visiting surrounding area of Cromer, Maundesley and Sherringham etc. North Walsham is well worth a visit on Thursday , market day.
What a fabulous place Poppyland is. The whole site is immaculately kept, the pitches are flat and large and the facilities are 2nd to none. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful adult only site, then this is it. It is perfectly placed for exploring north Norfolk. We will certainly be returning.
