I walked in, smile on my face, hair (not a lot because alopecia ygm?) blowing because of the gust that came through the shop window and I saw the most enticing plant , my hear skipped 4 beats nearly causing me to have a heart attack (it was okay though because hospital down the road) but this was not the case. The plant pleaded for me to take it, and release it from the basket it was held captive in, and take residence on my bedroom window sill. I walked over, head held as high as I was and I looked down upon it like the superior being I was. I used a minuscule amount of my energy to lift it and to my surprise a price was on the bottom (bargain £1.50 LITTT) and I was taken back like an anchor at sea. It took a while for my eyes to process the magnificence of this offer, was it april fools day you ask? NO! It was May 4th 2016 and it was more than real #100 ~ #GreatDeal ~ #BargainHunter ~ #WouldRecommend. I galloped to the counter to be greeted by the most pleasant lady, kind eyes, slim thick (SMILE!). I slammed the plant with every once of my being onto the counter in front of her, I am pretty sure I cracked the pot in the process #PeakTings #YGM #bludddddd . I pull out a fiver like a pistol in the middle of gunfire, I place it in her reach and she took it like the well educated business woman she was, she made eye contact with me as she swiftly opened the till and grabbed the £3.50 out and slid it across my palm, gently brushing against my fingers and my heart. This is the moment I knew this shop was special, this was the day I realised that those days of leaving school early would be spent in this shop, admiring plants, enjoying the atmosphere. Thank you Poppies Florist for making my life a much greater existence on this vine like planet.
