Some excellent pub food - really well cooked and great service. Friendly staff - beer was also top notch! very enjoyable - BOOK it gets busy.
We stopped here by chance on a trip up to Herefordshire to break the journey with lunch. We were very impressed with the Covid measures in place. Everything handled very professionally by the staff and the food was delicious. It was so good we stopped again on the way home.
We were greeted by owner where we were asked to sanitize and our temperature taken. Our food was delicious, service excellent. Appreciated the effort into protecting both themselves and customers.
What an amazing meal. Wonderful range of menu options generous portion sizes, a lovely location and a lovely interior to this wonderful pub. They sell a good range of real ales also and if you are lucky you can catch a game of cricket. Wholeheartedly recommend this place
I was not impressed with the cut of the steak. I was assured it was surlion but it was very fatty throughout. I have have had a good number of steaks in various restaurants throughout Europe and the US so I think I know a good steak.
Recommend this pub ! Plenty car parking, lovely view of cricket field. Spacious layout, lovely menu with about 4 choices for starter & main and the same with the specials. Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Good value for money and very very tasty food !!
Has a large grassed area which gets the sun at lunchtime. Decent pub food. No need to book if eating outside.
Popular place to eat. Not usual 'pub' food - more upmarket and a bit more expensive. Enjoyed it with friends.
