Well organised and a pleasure to visit. Great selection of clothing. And retro items. Record store in the basement needs care. Although it’s great fun to use retro equipment to play records, when you are charging premium prices for used vinyl, you would like to think they haven’t been wrecked. Sadly the store insists on playing treasured vinyl on really terrible record players with bad styli, and to make it even worse, a record player having a job to play, had a coin placed on to top of the arm, to further wreck the record playing. This is a total lack of knowledge on the subject to do this. If rubbish records at a £1, would be ok, but when you are charging good money, this is totally unforgivable. Nobody should be records from this store until they use proper equipment to play their stock on.
Some really nice clothing items, good quality and not too expensive. Shop is always clean and environment is friendly. They offer student discounts in here.
Some really cute pieces but far too many of them being sold damaged - I get they have the disclaimer that not all true vintage pieces will be perfect but if Cow vintage down the road can re-purpose vintage clothes into entirely new outfits why can't we expect holes to be patched, stains to be cleaned or buttons sewn on? It's not good enough
I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. I always pop in here every time I’m in Liverpool to get myself another vintage jacket pop boutique are the best for those imo: I love the layout of the shop it’s so well organised and the staff are lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for 70s style clothing too it’s great for that. :
Went in to browse and left with a cool jacket! Such good prices for a vintage, pre-loved shop. So often you are charged over the top because it's "vintage". However, this shop does not do that! Will be revisiting here regularly
Great shop I never had the pleasure of visiting until now. The selection of clothes is wide, the shop itself is clean, and the staff is absolutely lovely! The prices are totally reasonable for the quality of the clothes. Most of which match your regular high street clothing chain while offering some truly unique pieces. Its worth a visit for any thirfter!
Poor material and terrible customer service, I bought two items from POP boutique, and after washing them in cold water, they shrunk three whole dress sizes washed on 30 degrees for delicate items. The cotton that POP Boutique uses for its own personal designed clothes is very bad quality, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The shop only agreed to change one of the two garments that had shrunk. But I was only reimbursed 50% of the original price which I paid for the garment. And then they claimed the other garment I purchased had a stain on it and therefor they did not wanna change it for me. There is no stain on the garment and now I am left with a pair of trousers that don't fit, and a feeling of having been robbed.
I purchased a garment here last week which was heavily stained with what appears to be coffee. The lighting in the store, albeit ambient, was as such that it made it difficult to distinguish the mark from a shadow. There were no “care-labels” inside either so I was concerned about how best to deal with the stain. I spoke to a bespectacled lady who was very rude to me and dismissive. My intention was to explain what had happened with the purpose of highlighting that a heavily soiled garment had been sold and perhaps find out some information which would allow me to clean it. I understand that buying vintage can sometimes have its pitfalls but this garment was so badly stained it should not have been put out to sell and the when I asked about it in the store I was made to feel terrible. This has really affected me, I wouldn’t usually write a review like this but I feel compelled to share my experience, I won’t be shopping here again, which is such a pity as I have been a customer of yours for over 10 years even back to when the store was situated near Queens Square. I believe you should invest the money I have spent with you over the years on some staff training in customer service and conflict management as this lady has lost you a life-long customer especially when now there are a host of other vintage stores to shop in.
Good shop conveniently situated on Bold Street a little further up than Dig Vinyl. It has a good selection of second hand records of all genres. The staff are friendly and helpful. Many of the records are quite tightly packed and many are in crates on the floor and so some are not easily accessible. The prices for the records I bought were reasonable and fair. Be aware this shop only opens towards the end of the week.
Great place to buy vintage clothes. The also have their own brand and it's amazing. Prices are really good and they also have accessories, records and some retro-style postcards
