Really delighted with the service at Poochinis! I've taken my rescue greyhound here twice now and he's been well looked after. The prices are very reasonable and we always get a lovely warm welcome. Wouldn't go to this place. I had an appointment but thought I would double check before I went that she felt comfortable dealing with my 16 year old girl. Who has arthritis. I felt she was very abrupt and not at all caring or sensitive about my dog. All I got was if you want to cancel I don't want a deed animal on my table!!. So much for being caring about animals and its says on her notice about what she does its one to one that's not true she has other dogs in at the same time. It was my friend who had been before that brought this to My attention hence the reason I queried it again. So glad I did. Wouldn't want someone like that anyway near my girl
Very disappointed with the quality of the groom and the service received. Not only was the cut uneven all over, her face including ears appears to not even have been touched. We also found knots which hadn’t been brushed out/cut and her nails had not been clipped which was included in the price. I reached out to the owner by text and she was very defensive blamed our puppy - something which was never mentioned in fact she told us she was very good. They didn’t even offer any refund or help to fix this. Very disappointed in this below standard groom and customer service, we definitely won’t be back and would not recommend.
I recommend this salon which has been grooming my two little dogs for a few years now. They always come back looking lovely, the staff are a pleasure to deal with and the service is well priced. Feel like I was absolutely conned. Paid £20 for my pups first groom and she didn’t even look like she had been touched. Her ears were still greasy and her fur wasn’t even trimmed around her behind and legs. She was still a ball of fur. In fact a day later I met some people from my work and I was asked if I would be getting her a wee trim. I said she had been to the groomers the day before! Absolute joke!
I would 100% recommend Tracy and the team. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog as they are so professional and friendly. My dog loves them. Always a top notch groom.
We have been looking for our forever dog groomer for a while now. Our little guy is now 21 months old and for various reasons ie poor cuts, stressed dog we have been trying different groomers. This is our first time using Poochinis so thought I'd leave a review. When you go in it feels relaxed and not like a production line. The staff came out and spoke with us while we sat and gave our dog a pet whilst talking all the time putting him at ease. He was soon lying on a cushion enjoying his pets. When we left to go to our car the staff sat with him as he watched us leave. When we returned to collect him he came out looking very happy and not in a rush to evacuate the premises by any means necessary, at some groomers we've used he'd be only too keen to break a door down, throw a chair through a window and once was caught trying to sneak out via the air ducting pipes whilst humming the mission impossible theme to himself. So all in all, very happy with his cut, and most importantly very happy with how chilled our poodle was at the end of it all. He gets a lamb/teddy bear style cut if that helps you. We will be returning.
Another wonderful trim and pamper for my gorgeous Alfie. Love this place..and so does Alfie, we can't walk past and he's desperate to go in! Lovely staff..professional and you can see how much they love dogs, wouldn't go anywhere else, lovely atmosphere and your dog will be made to feel adored!
