Went here for a weekend in our camper. Lovely friendly reception when we arrived, given a choice of pitch, even asked if we wanted a sun or shade spot. Got shown to our pitch which I thought was great. Good toilet and shower facilities always clean and fresh. A small shop in reception with lots of camping essentials. Such a peaceful place to stay.  Dog-friendliness: It&#39;s got a lovely separate field for dog walkers, I used it many times, and it was never too many people on it at the same time.

Frist time for us at this campsite, we had a lovely welcome, and went into the adult section, a serviced pitch, we had free wifi and a fantastic price compared to the two clubs we are members of.  We did have our own aerial lead, so bring your own.  A good selection in the shop if you are short of a few things.  An excellent shower block with a high standard of cleanliness. We will be putting this site on our One to go Back to List.  Well done to the Owners and staff at Pont Kemys Caravan Park

I love this place,  it's so calming and in such a great location.  Beautiful river running alongside, good pub about 1/4 of a mile away,  great shower block and lovely friendly people.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday here. This is a great site that we always try to return to when in South Wales with easy access from the M4. There is a large dog walking field with dog poo bins on the way to and from. The facilities are good with very clean toilets and showers. We used the laundry area which had a very large washer, dryer and iron. Take a TV aerial lead to hook up as TV reception is not good. Wifi is included but can be slow and there is hardly any mobile signal. We had a caravan and my daughter and her family had a tent next to us, so when I had a problem with my car they were very helpful in letting us stay an extra day. If we had needed to stay longer they would have moved our caravan to another pitch for us as the one we had was booked. There is a very good Chippy not far away in Goytre, which also does Indian food, that I can reccomend. If you like curry sauce with you chips they have six choices. Newport is only 30 mins away. so although there is a caravan site nearer, I prefer to come here.

Great place to stay . Very clean toilets . Great peaceful surroundings with the river Usk running through.

We went for a one night stop over because it was near a pub for dinner and a drink. It was an excellent camp site, but the nearby pub was distinctly average

Very friendly relaxed site, facilities are spotless, access is good, ideal for dog owners, huge exercise field, bring an aerial lead though as caravan aerial struggles to get any signal, but aerial sockets on the hook up post. Will be back as excellent value.

Just perfect. Spotlessly clean facilities, Honestly can’t think of any bad points . Friendly and efficient check in. Free WiFi . Full service pitch. Or just electric  Will definitely be back

Our first time on this site. Situated in beautiful countryside alongside the river Usk. We were on a fully serviced site with water, electricity, drainage and TV aerial. The site is very well laid out with established trees and hedges. The toilet, shower and washing up areas are immaculate. A short walk along a path to the Chain Bridge Pub which had been recently refurbished. Will definitely return next year.

Spotless facilities, level site by river, hardstanding with EHU. Quiet when we were there. Lots of seasonal so don't know how busy it might be at weekend. Short safe walk to pub, closed on Tuesdays so didn't get to test.
