About

Welcome to Polmanter a 5 star touring and camping site, set in stunning surroundings within walking distance of the picturesque town of St Ives, Cornwall.

Story

We welcome families and couples from 1st April to 30th September 2017. Our 5 star facilities include two tennis courts, a putting green, sports field, play areas, indoor games room, laundry and dog exercise field. From Spring bank Holiday in May through to Mid September we also have the luxury of our own outdoor heated swimming pool, a bar and restaurant with adjoining conservatory and on site convenience shop.

We have three main amenity blocks which include under floor heating, disabled suites, family shower rooms, baby bathrooms and dish washing rooms.

A private bus service operates from Polmanter to St Ives for the Easter Holidays and then also from Spring bank Holiday to Mid September.

Lovely well maintained site, located in beautiful settings and not too far to walk to St Ives or if you don't like to walk there is a bus stop, very kid friendly with a very good park swimming and tennis courts, dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is an excellent camp site with amenities a plenty. It feels safe and welcoming and a nice atmosphere. Food and drink are on the overpriced side but the food is of good quality. The pitches are a great size, we camped two weeks on a non serviced pitch but due to the facilities we weren't disadvantaged. Great bus service into town but also a lovely 35 minute walk if you are feeling energetic. Only downside and it is minor, is the over policing of the soft play. Children can't go in it without an adult and it is rigourously enforced. However a child can go into the swimming pool and there is no lifeguard or checks to make sure an adult is present. Just feels the safety priorities are the wrong way round!!

This touring park has some really good facilities, including a large field, outdoor heated swimming pool, large outdoor play area for (slightly older) kids, a really good indoor play area for smaller kids, and a great restaurant. And a shop!

they need to review food prices could have same quality food cheaper everything else excellent

Very clean, pitches well spaced and very helpful staff. Would certainly return.
