Fantastic food and friendly staff, very well organised in seating their guests to avoid any unnecessary contact. Nice pub and the food was great especially the giant scotch egg starter. Mains were very good also and staff attentive. Great food and good value can recommend
The Isle of Wight has lots of good pubs, but this place is our go to place whenever we visit the Island. Food is delicious and staff so friendly. A hidden gem !!!

Had a delicious lunch in a very convivial atmosphere, plenty of old world charm with log fire and friendly staff only downside,it was raining when we came out.
Recommended by our hotel. Such such good food. Home made feel and beautiful presentation. Garden is lovely. Great for families and dog friendly.
Good food, excellent ale. Covid19 precautions excellent. One small criticism, it felt cold but I can understand that because of the need to have ventilation.
