Very quaint little town with the Burns cottage as high lite of their existence. The coffee shop across the road from the cottage could be revamped considering the amounts of tourists they must be getting.nThe little post office/ convenience store next door was an absolute treat. Beautifully merchandised with excellent staff. I should be reviewing them!!
Lovely dining experience in Poets Corner in Alloway village Ayr. Food excellent same company as Backstreet Foods in Ayr well recommended. Really nice helpful staff and chef chatted away before we left. Definitely worth a visit and you wont be disappointed... And well deserved...
Staff were more interested in gossiping to their friends than serving customers. Waited 10 minutes and never got a menu. Service appalling and just rude. Walked out and went somewhere else.
Lovely place to stop and have tea and scone. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I preferred sitting outside, inside felt a little bit cramped.
