Yummy!! Energiser scrambled eggs is a winner! Nice location near Old Street, lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff & tasty food. Good value. Toilet available. If you kids love eggs, great for breakfast hence family friendly. Nice to come here on Sunday mornings, fairly quiet with a nice view of Old street around. Recommended x
Nice place, prices are good! But you need to wait for your order quite long. It is a coffee shop where they trying to serve asap. Nice place to have breakfast.
superb - great range of tasty and healthy snacks at good prices and great deals. Amazing friendly staff and a great location just off the roundabout. The teas were superb and the brunch was just what was needed. There's also a nice ambience so when we were stuck waiting for someone it was somewhere pleasant to pass the time, for sure. Unbelieveable amount of choice, great, great stuff
I've been here before for breakfast sandwiches and it was nice to get ones with soft, fluffy eggs instead of the usual dry stuff in London. It was disappointing to get dry eggs today with grey and green spots. The sandwiches smelled like sulfur and we threw them away. Please continue to cook fresh eggs through the morning for your sandwiches instead of scraping the bottom or doing whatever you did with ours today. It's disgusting and inconvenient. The food you sell should have consistent standards.
The decline of the quality of the food at pod over the years has been drastic . What started as a innovative chain serving fresh clean food to what it’s like now is unrecognisable . I have noticed the steady decline over time but I stayed loyal and I just started to avoid certain things on The menu but after this recent visit I will not return . The chicken is disgusting reheated and the weirdest mottled brown colour I have never seen chicken look like this and it is chewy and tasteless . The meatballs are rock hard and also clearly heavily microwaved . It was all inedible and at £21.50 for 3 meals and one coffee it’s not cheap either for this poor quality.
Used to be good, i went there regularly to get some post gym food. In the past year the quality of food has been going down steadily. Their cooked meals now barely have any meat in them. You get rice, with curry sauce, a few edamame, and you would be lucky to get a few shreds of chicken. Their protein boxes used to be great, but they now use poor quality salmon and chicken, and have replaced the eggs with cheap mozzarella. Their salads are gross, just a tasteless mix of wilted kale and salad with cheap "greek style" cheese and a scoop of grain on it. They really don't feel fresh. They also have this new annoying habit of sticking mint in everything and not writing it on the labels. Not everyone likes mint! My last two meals from them have finished in the bin, i will not be going back.
Don't go eat here, many other and better options in close proximity. Quality of food served here is worsening rapidly, I only drink coffee here occasionally if I'm lazy to walk extra distance. Shame, great location, solid idea but execution terrible.
Local to one of my work centres. This healthy outlet always has what I ask for, Chicken Pho is nice and their turmeric latte is now one of my faves. Emily and Anna always friendly and smiling. Prices ok especially for London. Like going there.
This place looks pretty bland from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised by both the food, staff and decor. Their thing is healthy fast food and they certainly have a really interesting variety, from packs of seaweed to pomegranate juice smoothies and gorgeous-looking boxed salads. I went for avocado on toast, which turned up in a box with soy/spinach scrambled eggs...tasty, and cheap for £3.50, but not avocado on toast exactly. Staff were very friendly and the decor's pretty cosy - mismatched wooden seating and murals - so, given the price and the health factor, definitely worth a look.
Love Pod for a tasty, quick and healthy lunch. Food is a little carb heavy but apart from that no complaints. Used to visit this place all the time when I worked in town and I'll pop in now when I'm in the area.
