Had such a lovely time there The cocktails are amazing so delicious, and there are plenty of vegan options, and it's all decently priced. Plenty of games given the size of the place : And the staff are really lovely. I can't wait to go again! So lucky to have this place on our doorstop! Such an amazing space to play games with friends & family alike. The staff are so friendly & helpful - they could recommend games based on our party size & likes & checked in with us at various points. I love the iPad ordering system too so you get grab drinks & snacks & food without leaving your game! We attended nearly all their online quizzes during lockdown too. Definitely going to be getting membership cards soon!
This is a great place to visit, especially if you like board games. They have games for all skills and ages even little ones. The food options are good and tasty. Service is friendly and swift. The concept is great - book a table ahead of time they may accept walk-ins if there's space, - then order your food via an iPad that they give you to use. - next you pop into the next room to select a board game and bring it back to your table to play - Your food/drinks arrive as you play and you can order more refreshments via the iPad for the duration of your 3 hour booking - You have a great time and pay when you're done. Great idea that is well-executed!
This is probably my 10th visit and I had to write a review because each and every single time I have been blown away! The staff are so friendly and supportive and the venue is incredible I highly recommend getting a spot downstairs as it’s so cozy and has a great atmosphere. It’s extremely affordable and honestly a good time out! Would highly recommend it to anyone! Vegetarian options: My friend is Vegan and he was spoilt for choice. They offered vegan burgers, vegan cheeses, vegan milk shakes, vegan quesadillas! Not a bad selection at all for a board game cafe! Parking: As stated by the venue there is no specific on-site parking but there are several affordable car parks around Rochester high street that are all very local to the venue

Really enjoyed Playopolis.. a great selection of games and company helps. Cool space to be in and place feels relaxed midweek. Seating could be better/more comfortable imo. iPad menu and service spot on.Food: 4/5
I feel it's fairly priced and transparent in cost. The hosts that day were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was chilled. No overbearing background music. Games stored neatly in another room.
The staff here are brilliant, so friendly and accomodating. The games selection is great and the cocktails are reasonably priced, something a little different from the usual mainstream cocktails and taste great. I like that you can order on an ipad as well, but if there is a problem the staff are straight there to help you out
They have an incredible library of games and really nice selection of food to snack on! You can easily spend 3 hours there without realising any time has passed at all!Food: 5/5
The kind of café experience only offered in big cities like London, Playopolis is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and pick up a few new games to learn. They have an extensive board and card game selection, friendly staff, good spacious tables and plenty of room. The basement lounge is incredible! One of my favourite places I visited in 2017.
