Visited with friends. The place is good, the pouffe chairs are very uncomfortable. I liked some of the cocktails we've tried but most of them was just too sweet to drink. We also had to wait a long time for some of our cocktails, that's the reason for the 3*

I have been going to this place 3 weeks on the trot as it is the only place that plays good music for everyone from 80s soul 90s rnb house and garage to current. DJ is spot on . The only problem I have is how slow the service is. Lots of bar staff but it only looks like one member of staff is mixing the drinks. Other than that I definitely recommend before 2nd lock down tomorrow 5 November 2020
I attended a friend's birthday event here. The venue isn't that big but it's an ok little place. Drinks well priced and the bar staff were nice. I wasn't very impressed with the security man on the door charging a fee because he decided that after a certain time he wanted to generate a side income. Totally uncalled for. If I didn't live so far I would have turned back. He was smug about it too. Other people were equally unimpressed. Some had popped out to have a cigarette and were then told to pay this fee if they wanted to get back in. Ludicrous.
Really nice clean and polite staff will go again
Very nice cocktails, good music and a lot of fun overall. Only criticisms are that if you arrive after 10ish then you will not get a seat and also if you say you offer table service then you need to offer it properly, not 'we will bring it to you at some point'. Otherwise great

This has to be my favourite place in Croydon. Every time I've gone it's been fairly chilled and quiet. I did go on a Sunday once and there was a DJ playing some good old school music. I think it's such a shame they don't serve any food like hot snacks even if it's just nachos with melted cheese . However the cocktails are just great and I would definitely recommend.
Had excellent night out at the playground bar. Hostess was amazing and was helpful throughout the night. My wife guest enjoyed the night and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Cocktail are great music's was great and the atmosphere was great.
