I'm torn on this place, my kids had a good enough time but we won't be back, its just hugely overpriced and theres lots of added extras making it cost even more.nYou can not take your kids drinks in, you must purchase them allergies is the excuse given, absolute money making nonsense £1.50 is the cheapest drink, being water. Ice blast was £4.75 but it was a tiny one.nThe zip line is £4.75 they wasted 40 minutes of their time queuing for that. Lockers are £2 for small or £5 for large but only get 2 hours despite the session being 2.5 hours. The arcade is also extra money and the VR section.nThey queued for the trampoline and got exactly 1 minute. Laser tag also had long waits.nThe play frame is big enough for adults to go on with the kids although i warn you now, that big red slide looks fun but it is not made for bodies over 30, you will fly my teenager actually injured her self on it at the start and she sat out the rest of the session, so complete waste of money for her.nThe football pitch was full of awful kids hitting and swearing at my 7 year old girl so she couldn't play in there.nThe parking is free, we didn't struggle to find a space.
Play Factore in Manchester is an impressive indoor play centre that offers a wide range of activities for children, making it a popular choice for families. My visit there was enjoyable, and there are several aspects worth highlighting, though a few areas could benefit from improvement.nn**Positives:**nThe first thing that stands out about Play Factore is the scale and variety of attractions. The centre boasts one of the largest indoor slides in Europe, which is a huge hit with both kids and adults. The excitement of sliding down from such a height is undeniable. The venue also includes a well-designed play frame with multiple levels, offering climbing, crawling, and other physical challenges that keep children engaged for hours.nnIn addition to the play frame, there are go-karting tracks, laser tag arenas, and a dedicated toddler area. The go-karting is particularly thrilling and adds an element of competitive fun, making it more than just a typical soft play centre. For younger visitors, the toddler area is thoughtfully designed, ensuring that even the littlest ones have a safe and enjoyable experience.nnAnother positive aspect is the cleanliness of the facility. Considering the number of children that visit daily, the staff does a commendable job maintaining a tidy and hygienic environment. This is especially important for parents who are often concerned about cleanliness in such places.nn**Areas for Improvement:**nHowever, while the facilities are top-notch, Play Factore can be overwhelming during peak times. The popularity of the centre means it can get quite crowded, leading to longer waits for attractions like the go-karts and laser tag. The noise level also tends to rise significantly, which can be stressful for both children and adults.nnThe pricing is another point to consider. While the centre offers a premium experience, it is reflected in the cost. For families, especially those with multiple children, the expense can add up quickly when you factor in admission, food, and additional activities like go-karting. Some visitors might feel that the pricing is a bit steep, especially when compared to other play centres in the area.nnFinally, the café, while offering a decent selection of food, could improve in terms of both variety and quality. Given the length of time families tend to spend at Play Factore, more healthy and diverse food options would enhance the overall experience.nn**Conclusion:**nOverall, Play Factore is an excellent choice for a day out with children in Manchester. The range of activities ensures that there’s something for everyone, and the scale of the play area is impressive. However, potential visitors should be prepared for crowds and the associated noise, especially during weekends and holidays, and should also be mindful of the costs involved. Despite these considerations, the fun and excitement on offer make it a worthwhile visit.
This place is great! My kids had so much fun. I wish there was one in London. When booking I expected this place to be packed and chaotic typical ball pit atmosphere due to it being school holidays. The place is so big and well run that although there was a lot of people it didn't seem that way. There is more than enough seating. A very good selection of food and drinks at decent prices. The service was polite and efficient. Staff kept the place clean and running smoothly staff members supervising the big red slide and trampoline area. Overall we had a great time and will definitely visit again when back in Manchester.
My 20 month old grandson loved it. There is plenty to keep children of all ages entertained for the 2 hours. It was over busy so he managed to try out everything in the under 5's play area and some things in the older play area with his mum. There is a cafe area which we bought drinks from which I think was reasonably priced. The receptionist was a bit 'off' but the rest of the staff we interacted with were lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back.
Lots if fun for the kids. A great variety of activities. Food was tasty and portion size good. My main issue hence the 3 stars is that it’s a very expensive couple of hours as the arcades, VR game and zip line come at an additional charge which I think is crazy on top of the ticket price and of course the kids want to play on these too. If they were included then we’d happilyncome again.
