My other half and I enjoyed a fantastic dinner. We enjoyed fresh seafood, fillet steak and a tasty lemon cheese cake to finish... wonderful. Really cosy environment and attentive staff. We would go back 😀

Went here for a pub lunch while on a day trip to Tenby. Managed to get a table next to one of the log fires, kept us lovely and warm on the late December day we visited. Both of us went for the local cod and chips, was absolutely delicious! Homemade tartare sauce was excellent. Had a very friendly welcome and were seated and served promptly. Would highly recommend!

I love the Plantagenet and you will too. One of the best restaurants in Pembrokeshire and certainly in Tenby. Certainly one of the most interesting, part of the building, indeed the chimney section of the inner dining area dates back to the 10th Century. We ended up sitting right in the fireplace, looking right up into the chimney itself, which was fantastic. The food also, was to die for. Go for the fish, whatever you do. You can have a steak anywhere, but no one does fish quite like the Plantagenet.

Quirky restaurant, fantastic food. Excellent service. I had the rack of lamb which was the best rack of lamb I've ever had. Would go back, but might take a lamp as it was rather dim in there.

We visited in the middle of summer, high season and busy, my experience might have been different in the off season. It's a big place and it would be a good choice for large parties. The service was good too, friendly and helpful. However, the food..... Very average. My Sole was hopelessly overcooked and the accompanying salad forgotten. When it eventually arrived it was limp and unappetising. My children's chips were good, but the steak was also over cooked. The local beer was very pleasant ....so good I had seconds. Friendly and enjoyable if you're expectations are modest, but the best pub food in Tenby?......I hope not.
