Went for the first time today as an early Mothers Day treat and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant was busy but we had booked a table a few days earlier although tables were still available. The Manager was friendly and chatty and seated us even though we were early. The waiter for our table was so accommodating and again friendly and according to do son "the best waiter ever" and he wasn't far wrong. The food was excellent and quick, we'll definitely be going back!

I love Pizza Express and was really pleased they opened a restaurant at Rushden Lakes. This was my second visit, the first was two weeks after it opened. Today was a birthday treat for my partner. Food was great. Served fresh and hot. Good choices of starter I.e. Garlic bread, dough balls etc. Choice of pizza was good, as was the choice of deserts. Drinks had a good choice of either alcoholic or non alcoholic. Menu also caters for gluten free options. Dining experience was first rate with comfortable seating, great views overlooking the lake and great friendly service from the staff. I think that the food is good value and definitely worth treating yourself. However, if you are at that time of the month when you would like to eat out, but you don't get paid for another week, here ia a tip. Visit the Pizza Express Web site. They usually have offers for a two course meal or a three course. These are set prices, but give a good choice, and save you some money. Sign up on their Web site to receive regular offers and promotions. It just makes eating out that little bit more affordable.

Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and welcoming. They actually had a rapport with us rather than just taking the order and looking glum doing it. Very quick to ask the chef about allergens when she didn't know, overall great.

You know exactly what you are going to get with Pizza Express. The reason this gets 5 stars is that the staff are very attentive and the interior is nice. Lovely tiles, a decking area outside which looks onto the lake and plenty of room inside. Probably the nicest Pizza Express I’ve been to.
