Always friendly. Come in here from time to time. It's always busy so expect to wait or book in advance. We come in with our young daughter and they are always friendly and make you feel at home and as if nothing is too much bother. The food is constantly good as you'd expect. It could do with being bigger! But that waiting be my only complaint.

Must have been lucky for me. Normally pizza express have provided me with a poor service. But this particular one was great. Friendly staff that gave you attention. However, the pizza was not great. The new and improved mushroom pizza tasted a bit too strong on some kind of truffle oil or something way too mushroom like taste. All you could take whist eating was a truffle like after taste. My pizza was extremely salty. I ended up not finishing.

It's Pizza Express so you know what you're going to get - pretty decent pizza, consistent no matter what branch you go to. I like this branch though, situated in pretty Blackheath. It seems to be a bit of a hangout for the local teens on a Saturday night, but in a typically quiet and respectful way - things are a bit different from when I was a kid!

We had a birthday party for our child. The service was simple great, the guys are extremely helpful and know how to keep children entertained. Also, good value for money.

Popular branch of Pizza Express in the heart of the village. Always busy and can get unnecessarily crowded without much room to move. I had someone’s B.O. all up in my grill during my last visit which was not pleasant. Recommend the Calabrese Pizza if you like them hot!
