I was very disappointed with the salad and service. The weather was very good on the Saturday afternoon, we went in to ask for a salad, foods and coffee to sit in. We sat upstair but before the food arrived. The staff told me they are closing in 5minutes. I was waiting for the food. So I was thinking....well...it was a bright day, I did not think a cafe in a high street will close at 5pm, in any case, they should have told me they are closing soon and stop the order....evetually...my food turned up when they are closing and the staff said she didnt want to be a pain but you know we are closing...I have to eat that so quick and yes, NEVER again.

The food was well prepared. The ham and salad were both nice. They seem to have different foods everyday as I went back again and it was different food. Simple but nice too.

Hand Made Foods is really disappointing if you have a gluten allergy. They do some awesome gluten free cakes now, but surprisingly they don't offer gluten free bread with their breakfasts or brunches and they don't offer anything else in it's place, which makes it even worse. You end up with eggs and avocado on their own for something like £7. There's a big sign outside advertising gluten free bread too, but when I enquired, this is only to pre-order and buy by the loaf. I think this really lets this place down. Also, there's no wifi access for customers. It's a shame as I live nearby and want to support my local businesses.

Totally dissapointed. Looks a great place to sit and have a coffee. Inside the lovely array of fresh food on display and the aroma of cheese However thats where it ended. The coffee was warm and my pastry was definitely not fresh more like yesterday's and chilled overnight I felt cheated esp when i was charged £6 and a well known coffee shop is almost opposite
