We stopped here for dinner following a graduation ceremony. We were made very welcome and I was very impressed with just how 'cosy' this restaurant is! The food was delicious and the whole experience was a lovely end to our special celebration. Thank you Pizza Express Food: 5/5
This was one of the better visits to this restaurant !!! For several years I have not been disappointed with your menu and the quality of the dishes served. Always at a high level and with special attention and interest from helpful and friendly staff. If that were the case in other restaurants, I would feel great. Great service, tasty food, clean tables and tidy toilets. I'm giving you a 10/10 today and a special BIG THANK YOU to the waitress Adriana. It was a very enjoyable evening with good wine, food and a great tiramisu dessert.
I have to admit it - Pizza Express has always been a favourite of mine; the ingredients on the pizzas are always good quality, and you really can rely upon consistency. You get what you expect - a really good pizza. I was surprised to see that the cappuccinos are only £2.80 still - this is lower than the price you'd pay in any of the local cafes. With the app it's possible to get really good half-price offers, which makes them worth paying a visit on a more regular basis than I would otherwise have done. Edit - the staff here are lovely, too.
Food took 20 minutes to arrive. Only 2 people were working at the shop there were only 3 other families in the restaurant but the service was horrible the people who worked there were very unfriendly and did not even offer us a table when we came in the the front door. We had to find our own seats and grab our own menu. We asked for pepper grinder multiple times but never received one. The takeaway brownie was just cut into a tiny piece and grabbed with bare hands and chucked into a box.
The food was lovely, unfortunately the service was not. I didn't get the servers name but it takes a lot for me to put up a review and get angry about bad service. As someone who work swith the public I know how trying it can be at times. Our waiter was beyond rude to us, he kept talking over us, walking away when we were talking with him and just could not care less. I don't know what we did to bring this on, or whether it was just two women dining out together, whatever the reason we won't be returning.
A very noisy restaurant… plates and glasses clattering in the kitchen - not separated from the restaurant. Staff not very friendly. Also - first restaurant I’ve been to in England that does not allow one to take remaining wine home liquor licence conditions. Good pizza though…
First visit to the Twickenham Pizza Express. The food was ok/good. I ordered a vegan pepperoni pizza and it has a very strange vegan cheese on it. Different to the one they used to use it was orange. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy and we were brought someone else's order at one point.
I have visited here a couple times with large groups of children and each visit has been wonderful. The staff are welcoming, helpful and always ensure everything runs smoothly. The food was made to a good standard and comes out quickly which is brilliant. Thank you!
They don’t even deserve one star. This Twickenham pizza express is awful, we had a booking on Mothers days which we booked two weeks prior, we then arrived and the worker the bald man, who believes he owns the place turned us away as we apparently cancelled online, which was completely false. He then spoke in an appalling way to my partner and kicked us out. The staff in this pizza express have worked there for years and they now override the manager completely. It is absolutely awful, they think they can get away with it as the manager is clearly scared of his own staff. I have heard multiple bad reviews about the staff and I chose to experience it first hand. We then reverted to the Richmond pizza express which was wonderful. I will never be returning and I will happily provide any further information on the staff.
Ate here on Monday lunchtime, we had three tired hungry 2 year olds who had been swimming and a small baby as part of our group, I was thinking this could be a very difficult meal out, but our server Egilda was very helpful & kind and she was so understanding of the toddlers needs so they were all happy & we were relaxed. My romana pizza was so yummy and perfectly cooked so I went & thanked the chef called Richard who had the biggest smile on his face, you can tell he enjoys his work and takes pride in it! These staff are an asset to Pizza Express and we will definitely come back again, thankyou so much!. C Phillipps
