Very happy 3 night stay here with my dog. Choice of pitch on arrival, showers and toilets were fine, small shop, I bought tin opener, welsh cakes, milk, bread and cheese. Good water pressure for a hot shower. Nice walks with my dog on the campsite. Really close to Worms HeadService: 5/5
We arrived to a very helpful and welcoming team. It was very windy so we were taken to the best place to protect us from the weather. Facilities were all clean and functioning. Staff went out of their way to help us on various occasions. Local area is amazing. But you do need to walk around 15/20 min to the closest beach. But it’s worth it.
A lovely, peaceful site. Facilities were great and very clean. A good shop, and really helpful and friendly staff. A nice walk to a beach, which we got to following the sites free map... We will be back.Service: 5/5
A lovely quiet and spacious campsite with the friendliest staff. Dog and kid friendly with poo bins and a park. Beautiful views, amazing beaches nearby, nice facilities, a well stocked shop, laundry room, washing up room and even a stone circle and frisbee golf!Service: 5/5
Bit pricey for what you get basic is the word .been to places half the price with far better set up for motor homes .friendly staff .showers were clean and hot water but did not like the idea of leaving clothes outside the cubicle. Would have struggled to shower if site was full I think .if priced better I would use againService: 3/5
Just spent a fantastic five days here. The hosts are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Ideal for a relaxing walking holiday. Would highly reccomend this campsite for anyone looking for a stress free break in a scenic location. Thank you Debbie & Melody
Nice site, owners were very helpful and friendly .The facilities and toilets showers etc were absolutely spotlessly clean. 25 min walk along the road to stunning Rhosilli beach. Weather let us down but will managed a few games if disk golf!Rooms: 5/5
We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Pitton Cross over the bank holiday weekend. The pitch was perfectly sized for our 8 man tent and gazebo with lots of extra room. The toilet, shower and washing facilites were lovely and clean, and I did not have a problem waiting to use anything. The shop had everything we needed at a decent price, including the breakfast van which was great! Although not in a town itself, it is smack dap between Rhossilli and Port Enyon which have both decent sized moderate walks along the coastal path. Thank you for the amazing holiday!!
Stayed this weekend as a group of 4 mid twenties friends looking for a peaceful weekend of hiking and surfing. Booked in with no problem, making it clear that we were four friends and all seemed fine. But upon arrival the male staff member looked alarmed and on less than excited to see us, and said that since we were all guys they would have to issue us with a 25 pound bond charge each to ensure good behaviour during our stay. We reluctantly complied despite the fact that we had not been warned about this charge upon booking, and it felt quite patronising and irritating to be profiled and treated like naughty kids. They insisted that all groups of friends - despite their age - would be charged this bond, which was a blatant lie as I asked a group of four girls if they had been charged and they said no, and agreed that this bond charge was nonsense. Also we were doing this trip on a shoestring and all being charged 25 quid at the start added unpleasant financial pressure. Also, quite frankly being treated like naughty kids just made us want to misbehave during our stay. I would highly encourage the campsite staff to do away with this foolish, patronising, petty policy and trust and assume the best of their guests. If not, they should make it abundantly clear during booking that they are not welcome and save a surprise charge. We were late to our seaside sauna appointment the next morning due to having to wait to collect our bonds which have to be claimed in person with the paper reciept. At checkout, the lady - upon hearing that we would be visiting an excellent seaside sauna business in the gower that I highly reccomend said that she and others thought it was "weird" that people would use a sauna on the beach. That they should "do it inside". Which was a very strange position and contrary to the position one would imagine a local champion of tourism and positive nature based experiences to take. The staff need to chill out, trust their clients, and stop being closed minded.
Lovely, peaceful campsite with everything you need. Staff are super friendly and it's a lovely walk to Rhossilli.Rooms: 5/5
