The shop stock is great, what's even better is the quick and correct answers provided by the staff. No messing around. I asked about a Thermostat for a 1997 Fairway Taxi and was able to be notified of correct stock and price in less than a minute. They were also extremely helpful with questions I asked. Great local place!
Very impressed! My car key fob had stopped working so I could not open my car. Went to pit stop - gentleman took key from me and said to go back in 15 mins. Returned and fob battery was replaced and only cost £2.99 . Car now accessible- thank you so much for your prompt attention.

Good price, knowledgeable and helpful
As the others have said, the shop is well stocked - you would have to own an extremely obscure car not to find what you're looking for here. I only went in for a couple of litres of engine oil for my Ford Fiesta - but was perplexed at the variety and choice on offer. Spent about 15 minutes reading the various labels, then looked up on my phone to find out which was the right oil for my car. Got my answer in the end - but it would have been nice if someone had come up and asked "can I help - what are you looking for?" But no one did. Maybe I went on a bad day when they were short staffed. EDIT: In light of the owner's kind response, I have given the shop an extra star - and look forward to shopping there again.
Called up looking for a part just to save me a trip the gentleman that answered was very helpful. Although he said they didn't stock the part and he doesn't get supplied, he gave me the details of the company that do supply the part.
I use ebay a lot for my parts, but have started going to Pitstop regularly. Plenty of stuff on the shelf scores points, so does competitive prices. What I like the most is the friendly and knowledgeable staff.. Very impressive!
I have purchased from this store a few times. Very helpful staff who know what they’re talking about and can help you, the prices of all items are very good also, would definitely recommend
