After browsing on their website at dinghies, I contacted them and made my purchase .. I collected the dinghy the following day ... Unfortunately it wasn't as expected and was really poor build and design , so I returned it to the shop .. After explaining the issues about it I asked if it could be exchanged for a different one , albeit a smaller cheaper one , but better quality .. The initial response to my request , was that I would face a 15% handling charge , and the cost of shipping to the supplier , totalling £70 , then I would have to pay the extra £20 to purchase the smaller dinghy which was £50 cheaper than my original purchase .. I was a little taken back with this response , at first I thought he was joking ... After a second to calm myself , I mentioned that I have 14 days "cooling off " as the purchase was made over the phone , and is covered by the distance sale of goods act .. I was given my refund of £50 and an exchange was made for a different dinghy .. I was somewhat cross and upset with the shop with there initial response as there was no need for that , this is my closest Chandlery store , and had planned on making some larger purchase in the near future ..

Good place, large variety of boat related items, reasonably priced and very helpful staff. Sure will visit again
