Great for camping. Plenty of pitches and free showers as well as laundry and washing up areas. Plenty water taps and staff really friendly and helpful too and on bus route.

A nice quiet camp site with fishing lakes and a small club. There is NO swimming pool here. The shower/ toilet facilities are not as good as they were two years ago. The main brick built block is adequate but surrounded by permenantly sited tourers meaning you will have a decent walk to get there. It is only ventilated with windows, meaning they are always open which attracts bugs at night. The shower facilities in the main wooden clad complex also includes the bar's toilet facilities. Of the two male showers only one worked... A ceiling mounted shower head with little pressure behind it. The club house is like stepping back to the 1970/80s which I liked. One touring field is now being taken over by static caravans... which is a shame.

Been a couple of years on holiday. This year we've sited for the season and what a lovely time we've had!! Staff very laid back and helpful, friendly faces with other seasonal van owners, fantastic fishing (particularly enjoyed the matches). Didn't visit the club much (not big drinkers) but always had a laugh when we did go in!! Only disappointment is trying to find out about siting for 2017, can't seem to get the information we want about where we want to pitch!!! I'm sure we will still be back one way or another!! UPDATE, found a pitch for the tourer but it doesn't matter now because as soon as the new development is ready we've got a static ready to go on it, Wooohooo!! can't wait!!!!
