The first time I have been to this Chinese was recommended by friends, and it didn't disappoint. I will definitely be back.
Great food and cater for gluten free requirements. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Accepts contactless payments which is a rarity in Chinese takeaways in Dumfries. During busy periods it can take a long time to get an answer when trying to order by phone.
Staying in the area for a few days and tried this place. Pretty good food and a great curry sauce. Note though, at this time of writing March 2019, they do NOT deliver.
My favourite Chinese take away in Dumfries! We phone ahead and after 10-15 minutes, it's ready to collect, and very reasonably priced. The meal is always piping hot, the service is always good, and personally would never order my take away from anywhere else....
Decent food and generous portions. We phoned ahead and food was ready for collection when we arrived. Very reasonably prices too. An online menu would be helpful. No printed menus available either to take away for next time - would be useful for phoning order ahead. .....although if truth be told - I usually order the same couple of dishes anyway!
Absolutely fab never had a bad meal from her all delicious live and clean and Kenny and his staff are the best
Was disappointed after reading the other reviews. My meal was cold, and the salt and pepper chicken pieces were stuck together, also was very dry and tasteless. The salt and pepper ribs tasted stale.My friends meal was a huge portion, too much really. Had been really looking forward to the meal. Plus side, the person who took my order over the phone was very pleasant. Sorry, but wouldn't use this restaurant again.
Carryout Wide variety of food. Popular as queue awaiting orders. Food was reasonable but not exciting. Rice is an extra payment on top of most dishes.
First time at going here and was not disappointed I got chicken curry and fried rice and it was lovely. It was spicy but that didn't stop me eating it. My kids had chicken balls and sauce and they loved it. The only thing was there was loads and 1 cud of done them all. And to our surprise there was a free crispy chicken curry that came with it that it was written on the top of dish free. Will defo be going back. It was really busy when we went to collect. Which says a lot to me.
Long time since I have used Pine and Bamboo...And it won't be long until I am back..Excellent meal at really good prices..Clean and tidy with superb service..
