Pin Petch Thai Restaurant is situated in the “Odells Building”. It is an early Victorian building on the
High Street in Newport Pagnell. For over 150 years, it was an ironmongers shop and workshop in the
hands of the Odell family.

Story

Pin Petch Thai offers authentic Thai cuisine in the Historic Town of Newport Pagnell. We have a private room that can accommodate up to 24 for private parties and events. Have a look at our website,

Had a lovely diner in a nice atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive.nFood was very good. Authentic flavours and the portion was of decent size. But what I couldn't finish, I was able to bring home.nI was on my own and the table was just of size to fit my order. Would be challenging if seated with 2. But the rest was very nice, as was the decoration. It's somewhat pricy but dinner was very good.
Firstly staff were very happy and greeted us with a big welcome, smiling and friendly and professionally, sat us down immediately and left us to have a look at their menu and wow what a variety they have, at first I couldn’t choose as we’re so many I liked the sound of, I have had beef in oyster sauce before so I wanted to try the chicken oyster and oh my it did not disappoint, the flavours that hit my mouth were mouth watering, was cooked to perfection! I also had the chicken wings for starters and I had to order more as they were so nice, cooked to perfection, again mouth watering, staff at the front kept checking in and making sure everything was okay, they also, sorry , at the start checked for any allergies which I thought was great, once finished with our meals, I had a nice cold beer which was so freshening! This Thai restaurant is definitely up top for us I would say the best we have had and will be returning on a regular basis, thank you to each and every one of the staff at pin petch Thai restaurant
We had the so many different dishes but these two was one of our favourites' sizzling duck and veg and beef in oyster sauce and rice, and when I say this I mean it, the food was perfection, the flavours the taste, the texture it was all done to perfection, such an amazing small run restaurant, authentic and friendly, you can really see the effort and time that goes into the dishes, they make their own sauces from scratch, the staff are great! Somewhere that I will be returning on a regular basis! Thank you to each and every one of you, from the chefs, to the front of house staff and the staff behind the scenes
As I’m Thai I can say this restaurant is authentic Thai . We have ordered pad Thai and prawn basil stir fried and Jasmine rice . Both dishes are pretty tasty . The portions a bit small compared with the price . Anyway, we are both quite full. The service is very friendly and really care about customers Highly recommend.
This is a great Thai for offering vegan and veggie options however I would not recommend it at all for takeaway or delivery. Only dine in. Rotten fruit and veg and incorrect items are expected.nnIt’s a shame as it’s good quality food on the whole in restaurant but if wanting the comfort of a takeaway or delivery the service is really quite bad. Items are priced on the higher side - for example we ordered sweet corn fritters and no quality control or checks were made and we were sent spring rolls - £8.90 for something we didn’t want/ couldn’t eat. The delivery will be over 1.5 hours on the weekend so order with enough time. The food delivery apps Pin Petch use will say food will arrive within 20-40 minutes but it will come in 90 minutes. Pin Petch use their own delivery driver to avoid the tracking system feature in food delivery apps so they can take as long as they want. Ordering a total of nearly £90 for a group is a lot, but sadly a bad experience.nnThe food is nice and portion sizes are good but not a restaurant for takeaway or delivery. Accuracy, food quality, delivery times and price make it an unreliable experience for home.
