Amazing food to take away. Not cheap but highly recommended

I think I like this place mainly because it's a strange quirky mix of a Chinese restaurant and a traditional English pub. There's a bar where you can order a pint or a meal, people come in for take away as well. People come in for a takeaway and a drink. It's not cheap as its a restaurant but the quality is fine. Standard menu items.

We have had a takeaway every Saturday for ten years - it's far and away the best in the MK area. When they closed for a short time to refurbish I went to the restaurant in Newport pagnell high st and it was nothing like the quality you get at the Wok. The taste is fantastic, the portion size very generous and they have several ingredients in most of their dishes, unlike other Chinese restaurants which use only a couple in addition to the chosen meat. They will also tweak the meal to your taste. Tim and Alvin are always so friendly- there really is no reason to go anywhere else.

Best Chinese in Newport Pagnell by a mile, possibly best in MK. Hot fresh food, friendly service, well priced and some cracking traditional and Cantonese dishes. Don't be put off by the 80's decor, the food is excellent. Also a great place to watch football and have a cold beer!!
