Really disappointed! I wouldn’t waste your money! We stayed here for a week in the summer, the park it self is ok and spacious but the manager is appalling. She needs to scrape up on her costumer service skills as well as he attitude. Unless you have a male accompanying you to flirt with her then I wouldn’t bother going because you will not have the welcome you’re hoping for! Very rude and obnoxious! She’s changed all the rules to the site park so now children aren’t aloud in the outside play area after 9pm . Children under 15 years of age cannot be in the swimming pool without being accompanied, an although there should be an age limit. My 13 year old son was embarrassed! I also whitenesses the way she spoke to other holiday guests on one occasion they had complained. She was vile! Myself and my family and friends who attended will not be going again unfortunately which is a shame because the park it self is great but ruined by the horrible people who run it! Food is way over priced and not many options, about three to be precise! The park needs new management and some shifting about otherwise it’s going to be closed down within a couple of years!
An amazing site with modern, tidy, well kept caravans. The one we stayed in was immaculate. The site itself is very well run. No sign of litter, grassed areas are well maintained and kept. Fantastic little pub offering lovely meals. Games room for the kids. Heated pool which the kids took full advantage of. Staff are absolutely fantastic, can't do enough for you to ensure you have the best stay. The site toilets and shower rooms are cleaned regularly and to a high standard. We had a fantastic stay and I wouldn't think twice about returning.
Used to be a fantastic park. But not anymore. You could go to the club and meet up with friends but that's all changed. I took my grandson over there at 20.00 on a Saturday. No one in there and I mean no one not even behind the bar. The lady came in about 10 to 15 minutes later. The first thing she said to me was I'm closing early tonight 21.00 to 21.30. She went on to say that the facilities were all shutting early this year in October. Never know this before we use to have really good times there. We go in October for Halloween November for fireworks And Christmas and New year's. She told me that was all Finnished. The swimming pool has been cut in half and the arcade for the kids is no more. So it looks like its just day trips from now on
Loved it stayed in the lodge ,great big rooms felt right at home. site was great having some roads re done which will be nice when finished,Jo was great works very hard . Some great beaches to visit from this location mwnt/tresith tesco and aldi about 7 miles away
After only booking two weeks prior and reading the reviews I was a bit dubious. But we had a lovely stay, and everyone was super friendly . We're used to staying in fields so having the swimming pool for our little one was really fun, the onsite bar came in ery handy too! Its in a beautiful part of Wales with easy access to Newquay beach and other beautiful neighbouring towns. I think people leaving the bad reviews are people who are just being very fussy. For the price you pay , you really can't go wrong. We will definitely come back so thank you pilbach.
Just had another lovely Sunday lunch at the clubhouse, served straight away, great quality at a good price, piping hot and plenty of it.. nothing too much trouble.. thanks to Jo and all the staff
We camped here for 3 nights and loved it!! Brilliant place, lovely people! Great evening entertainment and heated swimming pool which the children enjoyed! Facilities great! Games room, laundrette etc, shop could do with a few more bits, showers are powerful and toilets cleaned daily. Only downside of camping it's a fair walk to the toilets!! other than that Loved our stay here, would recommend and will be happy to go back again :
People who are sighted are very friendly and helpfull. My 9yr old loved the outdoor heated pool and spent most of the week in there. Pitches are very close together but this did not matter to us as we used our awning and wind breakers for privacy. What did matter to us was the fact that if your husband doesnt flirt with the manager then you are not made to feel welcome and after speaking to 3 other seperate families staying in site, this feeling was mutual! This was confirmed for us after listening to a big argument that took place last night after a lady who we have never met confronted the manager regarding similar concerns! My husband is not the flirtatous type so we wasnt given the time of day.
The manager was very friendly and helpful and supportive, extremely accommodating beautiful little site has everything you needed toilets, laundry, a small pool beside the bar well maintained, food was beautifully laid out of suitable size and reasonably priced Friendly atmosphere lots of regular families returning year on year children and pets very welcome We will be returning without a doubt Lovely site can't wait to return
Nice quit site friendly staff the only down side are the spaces between the touring caravan it says 4 meters between each pitch but its more 1 and a half if you have a awning
