Absolutely fantastic Pub, one which many across Devon should look to emulate. We went last night to eat and watch the England semi-final again Holland and everything was.perfect.The Pigs Nose is a quirky yet traditional village offering a great selection of beers Otter Bitter was v good and bar food, with an attached Pizza 'shed' outside. Last the night was full of locals and holiday makers and dogs and it was a really friendly place. Unlike many places, the food was top notch and well priced - too many places since COVID offer sub par food at top prices, the pigs nose gets this spot on one place charged us 4.50 for limb and soda, this place 50p - obscene profiteering by many. The beefburger was perfect, as was the fish of the day. So happy with the food, we even had desert!! So refreshing.to.see a.pub doing things right, it's no wonder it's so well regarded by the locals. Parking: Parking.on the Green with a honesty box.
my favourite pub in the world! pie is awesome beer and cider is cheap. staff are welcoming and happy. great location and filled with history. also love their band nights!Food: 5/5
One of the best pubs I have ever been toFood: 5/5
Fantastic old inn just on the village square. Choice of a few ales. Friendly chatty staff and locals. Marvelous ambience. Pool table, dartboard and arcade machine. Good lighting with tasteful tunes on low. Interesting gents toilets. Very highly recommended
I came to this pub years ago for a quiet pint, and this time we came for a gig. On Saturday night, the place was busy with friendly people and cute dogs - the bar staff only took card which was fine for us. They had birra Moretti draught andthatchers Katy bottled which was great - the drinks are a little bit expensive £6+ a pint but it is the only pub in the area so I can understand why. The band were great and the sound quality was good
Some say This is the best pub in the world !!! It’s definitely got character Just like its owners and locals as well as the many visitors Look out for their music nights as it will be your best night out ever !! The foods is fantastic My taxi customers have been absolutely raving about the new menu They are putting so much effort in and they are indeed outstanding I highly recommend booking a table before coming to South Devon You won’t r regret a visit here There’s lots of camping and holiday cottages too if too can spend a when’s or a week or two in Prawle there’s fun for all ages
Spent a week in East Prawle in May for my 40th which was absolutely MADE by the Pig's Nose Inn. What a treasure of a pub in the middle of nowhere definitely worth the 45 minutes of lane driving! The pub and decor is charming, the toilets are horrifically traditional and fun well, the men's anyway. After hearing the tales from my brother, I had to go check it out myself, though I never ate the food, the fish and chips looked really good, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming especially, Jon, who's an absolute hoot, and finally, the event night Kraak and Smack was a corker!! Oh, oh, oh the cider on tap... oh the cider... it's so nice to have a proper dry cider on tap. Such a great atmosphere. We can't WAIT to come back before the end of the summer!
Love this pub, service is very good and food in the pub has gone upmarket and the shack pizza burger ice cream addition is brilliant i hope they do well with it. Toilets for the mens are a bit grim but cleanFood: 4/5
A lovely lunch with friends, great new menu with great tasting quality local produce in a local pub bursting with character and history. Highly recommend to any one in the area or passing through.Food: 5/5
Been here a few times in the past 5 years. Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Full of character and charm. Good drinks selection. We are here today, Friday evening, really good menu. Made it a difficult decision. 4 of us are, all had something different. None of us disappointed. The food was really good. Great quality fresh ingredients, well cooked. Sticky toffee pudding was delicious too! Would recommend for a drink and worth hanging around to have food too!
