Delicious hearty pie dishes. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We ate starters and mains which were really tasty, and looking at the dessert menu if we weren't so full of pie we would have certainly eaten dessert!

First time I've been here and it was a pleasant surprise. Nice pie, mash and peas, the cheese and onion topping was a nice twist.

Really good quality pies and skillets (pie filling with mash on top) and friendly service. The service was slow when I visited but they acknowledged it without prompting and knocked some money off the bill - good service. Plus the fish pie and minty mushy peas was worth the wait.

We were asked to order in advance due to our party size which was fine. There were two vegan options on the menu, 1 which was suitable for me. Unfortunately they called us the day before to explain the one ordered was out of stock, forcing me to go non-vegan for the meal. We booked a table for 11 at 7:30 and arrived shortly before. They explained the previous party hadn't left yet and recommended we go elsewhere for a drink. When we finally got seated at 7:50 it was 15 minutes before a drink order was taken, once we asked for drinks. Food eventually came out but there were missing items and a lack of cutlery, which were eventually sorted (a guests chips came out after he had finished the pie). When we got the bill I found we had been charged for two lemonades when only one was ordered. All-in-all a pretty disappointing experience. We did bring the missing items and the overcharge to the waitresses attention, but we were never asked if the meals were ok. Personally, mine was very tasty, I just felt let down by the slow and sloppy service.

Came here as I was having a craving for a pie and it was amazing! Super yum would definitely come again
