I booked a course of treatment with Physology due to an ongoing very painful knee injury. After seeing a physio for a number of months and getting no real results, I'd thought I'd give them a try. Following the first session my knee felt instantly better and, I was able to go for a run without experiencing any pain whatsoever. The results speak for them selves really and, the practitioner Claire was so professional, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about my story and how important it was for me to be pain free. I would highly recommend this company for anyone that appreciates excellent service, value for money and first class treatments!

My path to finding Claire at Physology started in excess of sixteen years ago. An injury sustained whilst playing contact sports, and a physically active job led to constant lower back pain. The presence of pain has become a "normal" part of my adult life. I would experience levels of discomfort in most daily tasks, with flare up episodes occurring every six to nine months. The most recent of these left me with total numbness in my right leg and severe pain throughout my back. Before meeting Claire, I have tried acupuncture, been to a chiropractor, physiotherapist, sports masseuse and osteopath. None of these treatments worked. Each would bring back marginal amounts of feeling in my leg, but none has given me lasting relief from the pain I have got used to.

As one does, internet research in to other forms of treatment, led me to understanding fascia and ways of treating pain through myofascial release. It also led me to Claire at Phsyology. Since receiving treatment from Claire, my pain levels have begun to subside. I now have increased levels of sensation in my leg. My body is beginning to feel stronger, both physically and mentally. I can perform better in my job and my general outlook looks drastically improved. I have some way to go - sixteen years of pain requires dedication to remove! However, with Claire's professional treatment, empathy, guidance and level of professionalism,  it's a problem that I am not afraid to tackle. I can wholeheartedly recommend visiting Claire at Physology and wish I had chosen the path of myofascial release before the aforementioned treatments!

It's a very long story. 40 years ago I hurt my back. All the symptoms of disc injury. I was referred to a consultant who failed to investigate. I then hurt my left leg before Christmas , steroid injections offered and refused. I rested it, the previous year I hurt my neck. Nothing useful done. I saw the groupon and as I had chronic pain, a limp and a neck scoliosis what was the worst that could happen?

I had a more than positive meeting with Claire. She pinpointed my issues, explained everything in detail photographed my poor body and started treatment immediately. Claire is very knowledgable, capable, sympathetic and perceptive. Claire was very positive and professional.  Claire also sent me a clinical if shocking set of photographs from every angle showing graphically the problems I was suffering. Claire also sent a detailed report. The site is very educational with lots of graphics and videos which help you to understand your problems and how to tackle them. Claire may have changed my life. I have a long way to go but because of Claire I am optimistic for my future health.

I came to Claire for treatment as I had a couple of issues really. I broke my collarbone a few years back in a car accident plus I was having terrible hip pain all on the same side. I have been having treatment now for literally a couple of months and the results have been absolutely mind blowing! I no longer have pain in my hip at all...not one little twinge and the recovery on my shoulder has been amazing! After numerous visits to the doctor and being subjected to copious amounts of physio...none of that worked for me. This is the first time ive been pain free in over five years. Claire is an amazing practitioner and most certainly knows her stuff! The clinic is great and is very easily accessible from the city centre of Hull for those who are coming from outside the city.
I cant recommend Claire enough...she has changed my life and now im free of pain...I can get back to being my normal very active self. None of this was possible before I started my treatment with her. All I can say is no matter what injury or pain you have...go and see her...she, in my eyes can cure almost anything!!! An amazing lady!
