I’m 49 years old and like a lot of people my age I’ve suffered with chronic pain for years in my hips, right shoulder, neck, back. I’ve visited many chiropractors, osteopaths and Physiotherapists for years to try and remedy the issues. Despite 90 -100 hours of different manipulations, massages and treatments over several years, they were all just alleviating the symptoms short term but not fixing the problems that were causing the pain in the first place. That’s where Paris Payne and Physio Conditioning is different. He didn’t just alleviate the symptoms, he focussed on and addressed the underlying issues that had been causing the pain for years. This approach threw me at first and I felt a bit short changed but after trusting the process and seeing noticeable results within the first couple of weeks I’m completely on board with this approach and perform the prescribed exercises, stretches and mobility routines 5-6 days per week with only positive results. After the initial movement screen which picked up all the restricted mobility, lack of strength and stability in certain areas / joints I was shown and given an easy to implement program which has given me a ROM I haven’t seen since I was in my twenties. The hip, neck and back pain has completely disappeared and the shoulder pain has lessened considerably. Please note that this isn’t a quick temporary fix that wears off within a few days. Paris gives you the tools movements, exercises, stretches etc you need to fix the problem yourself. Providing you stick to doing the relatively short daily routines it’s impossible not to see an improvement. The initial assessment and follow up sessions are more expensive than elsewhere but the old adage “you get what you pay for” is highly applicable here. I’ve spent thousands over the years trying to fix the problems at £20-30 a time that was akin to merely putting a plaster on the issues. I could have saved most of that money, pain and discomfort by visiting Paris 20 years ago. Live and learn eh ? With over 30 years of experience and a current client base that includes elite level sportsmen and Olympic athletes he obviously knows what he is doing and has given me fantastic advice and also dispelled a few myths / protocols I’ve followed religiously all my adult life that actually hindered my recovery. The guy’s a wealth of knowledge that everyone can learn from. I’m extremely happy that I took the plunge and intend to continue to visit Paris every 4-6 weeks for an update and to continually learn from the man himself.
