Why did I not visit Alison earlier? As a person who enjoys exercise and sport i have experienced back pain on and off over the years. However for a number of months the pain just wouldn't go away. On the recommendation of a friend i attended Alison's clinic. From the very first session my initial pain was relieved and following further visits and exercise my rehabilitation has progressed rapidly to enable me to return to my normal exercise regime. I have found Alison to be extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional as well as engaging and very friendly. I have never felt any pressure to finish the appointment as has been commented on in a previous review and have on the contrary been given extra time with Alison on occasions. I have recommended a number of friends who have all had a very positive result and experience.

Have visited Alison for a number of years at first with lower back pain and later with a frozen shoulder. Alison is always thorough and will only recommend a follow up appointment if absolutely necessary. Generally if I follow the exercises provided by Alison, by back stays stable. I have recommended Physio Plus to family and friends who have also been satisfied with treatment. Would definitely recommend.

Having been regularly running the local 5K Park Run I decided I was ready for a bigger challenge and booked a 10 k race. Unfortunately I developed a painful knee problem when running which would not go away. With the 10K looming I went to see Alison who fairly quickly diagnosed the problem, which was not actually to do with the knee at all, and she gave me a leg massage (painful but therapeutic) and some exercises to do at home. A follow up appointment to check my progress, some specific inner soles for my running shoes and more exercises were recommended. I particularly like the fact Alison didn't try to book me in for a long series of appointments, but she told me I should go back if I encountered any further problems, however, she thought I would probably be fine. Alison was absolutely right, 10 days after my last appointment I ran the 10K pain free and have continued to run without any issues. I am delighted with the treatment I received from Alison at Physio Plus and would recommend her very highly.

Alison is brilliant!!!!! having struggled with back pain for many years my work sent me to her for treatment and at the first session she knew exactly what the problem was, she is Very thorough and definitely knows her stuff!!! She takes time to test different treatments like stretches, ultrasound, acupuncture and explains varied self treatments with a view to self improvement at home. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Excellent service - have had a lot of issue with upper and lower back and Physio Plus have made sure they have been sorted properly and quickly. The advice and exercises given have maintained the work completed during the session. Will also make time to see me as soon as possible if I need it.
